  • Great valentine storys   Well we had a fantastic time in Bath and I managed to log all my food but it wasn't pretty! Yesterday, stupidly made up some sandwiches for my lunch using out of date hummous and tuna. Within an hour of eating I started to come all over achey and by the time I'd driven home from work…
  • Sorry typing this on my phone so a few errors. You'll love the experience :)
  • I ran this race in2004 and it is a fantastic race to run and completely flat system no hills to climb. The crowds are amazing at supporting you and along the way they have brass bands and other support acts that just adds to the happy atmosphere. I trained for the distance using a book called 'Running Made Easy'. Its a…
  • Irns you must do what you need to do for yourself. I've come off the WI because I'm so close to my goal I'm now maintaining weight and concentrating on losing body fat %. I still step on the scales but they don't move..... well they might after this weekend because I'll be drinking and eating out for 2 days. mfitz welcome…
  • Well done Softies....... I'm now maintaining so out of the competition, but supporting you all the way.
  • Hi every one. Don't expect any losses this week as hubby and I are off on our Annual 'dirty valentine weekend' on Friday:smooched: :blushing: The older we get though the less dirty   Hope to still exercise my normal 5 times this week, but will have to fit it in around jobs, night duty (husbands) and school…
  • Oh Jain I've had many days where I've consumed that amount of food and don't dare enter it for fear of judgments from fellow dieters. Its fantastic people like you who give me the courage to face up to the binge and get it down in my food diary which is where it needs to be.
  • Big hugs, know all the feelings around bingeing, almost have a whole lifes history about it. You don't have to wait until tomorrow, you can just get straight back on track with your next meal, log it as normal and go to bed knowing you did the best you could have just for today. In the morning you'll wake feeling tons…
  • Welcome allana, I've done RC, SW and WW over the last quarter of a century at some stage. I've found that this has been the only thing that has worked for me. I think thats because I've stuck with foods I love just having smaller portions and gradually making them healthier versions.
  • Hi Tracey have sent you a friend request. Come and join a lot more UKers on the Team UK - February 2011 Thread. Lots of support and a great bunch of people happy to be friend on there. :flowerforyou:
  • Too much, you're on your way to an injury if you don't let your body rest. Exercise should leave you energised. Other signs of overexercising are lost libido, feeling irritable, poor sleep patterns to name a few.
  • Excellent!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  • Irns I have my activity set to lightly active but am infact active. I've done this because for 3 days a week I have more restful days and I hope it balances over the week. My lightly active includes: 8 hours gardening a week. 14 hours housekeeping (not my own), walking the dog daily for 25 mins on hill, doing my own…
  • Rosy I am. My husband downloaded a load of photos from my old phone last night. I took some in my undies when I first started this journey, ugh not a pretty sight. So although I've only lost 12lb there's a huge difference. I also tried on some summer jeans last night too that in the summer I couldn't do up, and they now…
  • She doesn't sound very remorseful to me. But I wouldn't rush into divorce, maybe time apart will bring you both to the right decision....... don't know what you're missing until its gone scenario.
  • Chellie, YOU ARE A STAR THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:flowerforyou: :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou:
  • udall, no difference at all, just that our DVD players aren't compatible with DVDs produced in the States.
  • I watched Biggest Loser and it does go to show that even if you are eating healthyly(?) if you're portions are too big you won't lose so fast. Also noticed that next week Angie removes the cheese from the fridge he he. Slimming World OMG was binge heaven for me. I belonged 12 years ago at 15st 5 and then you could eat…
  • My only negative is the warm-up should be longer. I don't feel my muscles are warm after only 3 minutes, so I do 20 mins of cardio and then shred. I also don't agree with doing it everyday due to muscle soreness, and possibilities of injurys (but thats the Sports Therapist coming out in me I guess, because I treat a lot of…
  • Hi Gang. Been enjoying the discussion about sugar. I must admit I didn't realise the body choses to burn the sugar before the fat - learnt something new today  I'm happy to announce a weight-loss today. Ironic really because I've decided to go to maintenance and now its moving again! Have joint of belly pork for…
  • Overeaters Anonymous is a twelve step programme of recovery, based on the same 12 steps of Alcoholics Anonymous. It is open to anyone who wants to stop eating compulsively, whether anorexic, bulimic, overeater - basically for Food Addicts. In the USA there are virtually groups in every town and city. Here is the UK they…
  • This has really helped me today, thank you for sharing that TrainingTony. I was so ready to stop the weights because of the scale reading (because in my head it tells me you're getting bigger girl!) but after reading that I will persevere. Tell me does the scales ever start moving down again, or is this it now. I've 27%…
  • If you want to make me a buddie you can see mine. I'm from the UK though so some foods may sound different and vice versa!
  • Agree with farsc8per. You can also get them if you overpronate or oversupinate so get your new shoes fitted at a proper running shop (you may need supports in them). You can also get shin splints from increasing your activity too much, too soon. Very important to stretch out your leg muscles daily before and after…
  • Hi fuzzymel, llaural and Resh welcome to the site. Fuzzy I'm finding the last few lbs difficult to come off too. Its taken me since June to lose 12lbs. I've now started resistance training (as well as running - love running:love: ) and I'm finding the scales have stuck but I am losing inches still. Don't think I'll ever…
  • Think the site was playing up last night, because I posted on here and its not arrived. But I just said how much Rosys post made me LOL about the Trainers and Angies admiration of the contestants chucking up and coming back to continue!!!! I'm just bracing myself to Shred this morning, ache all over but know once I've…
  • It could be a sign of over-training.
  • New boobs - yes please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Leapt on the scales today and once again they've not shifted so I'm officially going to weigh-in again tomorrow and send Rosy that weight..... just hope its not a gain LOL! I haven't been to a wedding for ages, but we have 2 coming up in 2012. Watched the Biggest Loser last…
