Ditto, no fan of gyms either! yet... We live in a tiny cottage, so very little room, do all of our workouts with a set of adjustable dumbbells, a folding bench which just fits under a spiral staircase & elastics. We've found that theres very little we can't do with this set-up. Good luck with your choices :)

I joined bodybuilding .com. They have good plans for beginners, videos to follow to make sure you're doing everything ok. I'm doing both at the moment, alternating between the two. Lower body on one day, cardio the next, upper body next day, cardio the next and so on. When your losing weight you will lose some muscle and doing strength training helps replace some of this lost muscle and keep you toned. Well it works for me!! :) p.s have a day…
