Please, don't jack the thread with your personal issues. :/

Used to eat 1,200 and eat back my burned calories doing mainly intense cardio. I've lost 21lbs so far since January I'm now experimenting with heavy weights/circuits so raising my calorie goal to 1,800 now :)

I hate that stuff..it looks and feels gross in my mouth lol But when a juicer or blender spins at high-speed, it captures more air that mixes with the juice, causing the juice to be “fluffed” and “frothy”. So pretty much they are just collected air bubbles. You can drink it or not. Doesn't have any effect to your body if…

Going on three weeks Monday..I love it!!

I have the same "hip dip" too Unfortunately you can't determine where your fat comes off. :/ Best thing to do is lower your body percentage otherwise it could be the genes to blame.

You didn't gain 20lbs in 2 weeks, then you are NOT going to lose 20lbs in 2 weeks. It takes time. Start eating at a calorie deficit and continue til you get to your goal weight. No shortcuts here.

I know that weight loss helps PCOS and i'm pretty good in the fitness area, it's my eating that i am having a hard time getting into especially with PCOS. I figured since this thread was about low carb/GI that perhaps linking carbs with protein could help a woman with PCOS/IR also.
-
Would the insulin resistance diet help PCOS at all? It's not really "low-carb" persay but it does help you eat a variety of carbs (30 grams) per meal linked with (14 grams) of protein.

i don't have a doctor/physician. And the doctor that read my results was Indian speaking very poor english. Hard to get decent understandings in a walk-in clinic. :/

4.8mmol/L was my results and normal is between 3.6-6.0 My HbA1C was 0.050 normal is <0.060 I live in Canada now, i'm from US; so I'm stuck going to walk-in clinics til i get my papers.

Ohh ok, that makes sense..bc i wasn't on Metformin before i took the test. I just don't know what diet to continue on now. I thought for sure i was insulin resistant so i started doing the Low GI/Insulin resistance diet last week With PCOS, do i still follow those diets even if i don't have insulin issues? I have all the…

I'd get the Gamma phase. I've read that the Gamma phase is a good way to build yourself to Insanity. Insanity is pretty tough and isn't much like T25. :/

Other sweeteners (Splenda, Equal, Sweet N Low), are as bad as regular white sugar (maybe even worse), but i've been using Stevia (truvia) bc i heard it's a bit more natural and doesn't effect the blood sugars. I've been using Stevia for a few months now bc i'm pre-diabetic (PCOS) Hope that helps :)
