Being a larger gal I do like to wear heels and have wondered if that is not part of the issue with the calf muscles.... but I do also come from large legged women so I think genetics play a big part.

So glad to hear I am not alone! I have always had large calves and hoped they'd shrink down but seems they aren't. I am learning to deal with them but struggle to find nice boots that fit! and can't do the skinny jeans!

I am 41 years of age 5'6" and according to most apps I am "obese". I weigh 211.5. I am looking to get down to 170 where I was wearing size 10/12 Mediums. I do have larger bones with an hour glass shape. I think for most women it comes down to shape and even bone structure. I think the greatest thing we can do for ourselves…

I have been on here for a few years. It was never my intention for it to be a "dating site" and yet a year ago I sent a friend request and ended up meeting my soon to be husband! So yea it can happen :)

Thank you! I am so glad I "stumbled" on to this group! This is my birthday month and was looking for some new motivation/accountability/encouragement! Looking forward to a great APRIL!

Great words of encouragement! I am definitely in need of a recalculating! and not beating myself up or having a pity party!

Add me please! I need the motivation and accountability!

Thanks for you thoughts and insight. I do need to kick this habit. I guess I probably use it like someone uses coffee for the caffeine. I still drink plenty of water throughout the day. One thing at a time :)

Tammy, I have yo-yo'd most of my life! I know the feeling! For me I know the only way I am going to make it stick is to make it a lifestyle. This has been the longest I have stuck with something that is "healthy" and I feel I can "live with". I am here to support you in your efforts and you can do it!

Feel free to add me. It is a journey for sure and the more support and encouragment the better :)

So true! I was married to a runner and was made to feel inadequate many times because I was not a runner and with my shin splints I just couldn't keep up. I continually felt like a failure and always gave up. I turned to a bicycle and LOVE IT! 10 years ago I was in amazing shape and it was because I found the right…

Brooks, HI! I just saw where you had replied to my post way back in AUGUST! So sorry I didn't respond. I don't always get on the computer to do my tracking. I use an app on my phone. I appreciate your encouragement and I hope you are well. Nikki
