miss_sarcastic- thanks- that makes sense. I just really needed to wrap my head around this.

First the stopping smoking is so important you will feel so much better in the long run! It would help if I could see your diary and what you are eating. Also if you just log what you eat in the notes section- how do you know how many calories you ate?
-
No, and I have had some friends seriously call me out. I don't mind though, I want supportive friends who will be on top of me and remind me why I am doing this. Last night we went out drinking though and ate a ton of crap for the Bronco game and I stopping logging- I know I went over and am not even sure what all I ate

Just looking real quick- I can make a huge salad with lots of fresh veggies for the same calories as your hot pocket. I have learned to pick my calories- I want to make sure they are loaded :0) And I am far from perfect at it all the time but cut some of that processed crap out and stack up fresh foods and you will eat a…

By far one of the most awesome sentences I have ever read

you look great! Awesome job

I get what you are saying, although so many folks are clearly missing the point. And I agree, some folks on here will seriously try to eat 500 calories a day and it may do more damage to tell them WAY TO GO!

I have replaced a lot with fruit and a favorite of mine is strawberries sprinkled with a tiny bit of powdered sugar
-
I won't eat it if I don't honestly like it. I love salads, fresh fruit, steamed veggies, fish, etc and I also enjoy a nice (homemade) burger now and then
-
Honestly and bluntly....everyone has the time. It just has to be important enough for you to really put your time to good use.

I try eating high protein and high fiber, keeps me full. A great, filling snack to me is an apple. Plus you gotta ask if a lot of it is more mental, you've trained your brain to think that's not enough food

You could try adding fruit. Strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, and peaches go great in salads.
-
I took sugar off because I eat a lot of fruit and I don't want the evil red to come up lol

I think 2lbs is awesome- 1st week or 12th week or 44th week

I got pregnant and seriously overate and just sat on my tush most of the day. I gained 70+ pounds in my pregnancy.

I pack my lunch 95% of the time. I do lettuce wraps, carrot sticks, hard boiled eggs, salads, berry salad (strawberries, raspberries, and blueberries) and tomato & cucumber salad are my favorites.

I tend to see about 2-3lbs come on during TOM

I'd chat with your doctor about ideas and personally think walking is a great starting point
-
Personally I focus more on refined sugars and not natural sugar- like sugar from fruit.
-
What a di**. You have to start somewhere and walking to work is better than doing nothing. The doctor should have (IMO), "Great start! Now let's see if we can get that to 30 minutes of walking each day"

I play kinect, go for walks, do a couple pilates DVD's, play basketball with my kids, and I like to look up work outs on womenshealthmag.com

Lately I have been cutting out the bread and wrapping my sandwich in a lettuce leaf. So I will make two wraps normally- one piece of lettuce, one slice of either chicken or turkey, then I half a slice of cheese, maybe add tomato if I want then I dip it in a little bit of my favorite salad dressing (Braswell's of Georgia -…
