I'm still not really understanding (I suck at math for the record) if anyone wants to work it out for me, have at it LOL! Weight: 230 Goal: 150 BMR: 1829 TDEE: 2195 I'd like to lose 2 pounds per week (or more but you know how that goes). MFP says my calories should be 1240 everyday.

Yeah I did set to sedentary because while I plan to exercise progressively through this, I haven't done it on a regular basis. Is there anywhere you can get a decent estimate of the calories burned?

Thanks all. I don't have a car so if I were to walk, it would have to be just around the neighborhood. I'm going to try and do that. I also looked up videos on Tai Chi but I don't even know where to begin with that. Any recommendations?
