  • I can see a huge difference! Well done you, keep up the good work!
  • I have 40 or 50g of granola (my favourite brand is 'Jordan's') with 80g or so of vanilla voghurt, or I'll have an omelette (4 whites 2 yolks) with cheese in, both fill me up and keep me going until lunch so I don't really experiment with anything else!
  • Thanks guys! It's really helpful to hear what works for other people. I've been two days in a row and am having a rest day tomorrow, returning on Thursday. So far I'm really enjoying it and can see myself sticking to regular workouts and continuing to be motivated!
  • Thanks for all of your replies! I've just joined a gym and I think 3-4 times a week for an hour or so would be best for me, thinking of going every other day and allowing myself time to 'rest'. It helps to know what you guys do so I've got an idea of what I should aim for! Although I'm going to start off working out twice…
  • I would just do what you feel is right. She should encourage you to eat healthily and look after yourself. When I cook a meal I will scan the barcode on my bag of potatoes, or weigh an onion.. it can be annoying at times but that is the lifestyle that some of us adopt to get to where we would like to be! I say go for it,…
  • The photo is of me and is almost a year old now. I'm quite a wimp when it comes to weights, but I will check that out. Thank you!

  • My waist is quite small, it's my hips that I'd like to work on. I've done muscle exercises on my Wii (a lot of people would say that's not really 'serious' exercise), but I think I'd benefit more from a gym and the various equipment and facilities that it can offer

  • Thank you for that! Looking forward to eating a little more  May increase my calories by 50 or so each week, I don't think an immediate sudden increase would do me any favours.
  • Thanks for your replies. As I mentioned I've been taking classes at my gym but I think I'm going to actually become a member and start doing cardio and strength training, as well as eating a little more. I've been reading a lot on here about the balance between a person's Basal Metabolic Rate and Total Daily Energy…

  • When I started using MFP I thought to myself there is no way I would stick to 1200. That amount is far too generic and it depends on the individual as to how many calories they need anyway. I decided to limit myself to 1350 calories.. however in the last day or two I've been learning about BMR and TDEE's on here. I…
  • I'm 5 foot 1 or thereabouts, I was a 10 before I started tracking what I eat and I'm now an 8 but can fit into size 6 clothes (but that's depending on shops, might be an 8 in one shop and a 6 in another). My profile picture is almost 12 months old though; when I was a size 10. Hope that helps.
  • I wish mine had stayed put! I went from an E cup to a C :frown:
  • I've got a Wii and Balance Board, had them for just over a year but only recently have I started to use them religiously. I've got Zumba too, which is enjoyable but I have no idea how to record how many calories I've burnt off when I'm recording exercise. I don't know whether to class it as aerobics, dancing, or Wii…
