If you are the one buying the food and grocery, make sure you buy better foods for him to eat. I know I do all the grocery shopping for hubby and I, but I don't buy certain items unless he ask me to i.e. chips, beer, etc. If he is serious about it, you buy healthy foods and prepare healthy meals and see how fast he reacts…

Everyone else is giving really good suggestions. Making small changes is the way to go. Even if you have to keep starting over because it's hard to stick to it, don't beat yourself up! We all do it. I am at weight I was about 10 years ago. And now I'm struggling again because of life changes like stress and other things.…

My husband is a no make-up person as he prefers my natural look. I like natural looking make-up and do something more natural. If I do go dramatic, it's usually a smokey eye and some blush for an evening out, but nothing over the top.

Hardest thing for me to give up are processed carbs: chips, cookies, breads...I'm trying to learn to eat more complex carbs that are healthier for the body.

Well, I gained about 15 lbs in the last few months and had someone ask me this last Sunday. Asked me if I was expecting. I said so and they said, well you sure did get "thick".

I would like to loose 30 lbs in 3 months! 2.5lbs per week 10 lbs per month! I plan on watching my food closely and adjusting where I see necessary. I'm going to Aruba in July for my wedding anniversary and going to the Beyonce concert on the 13th so I want to be in tip top shape! For May, I would like to loose 10lbs.

You may have to cut your mother off for awhile until you have the courage to tell her to put a sock in it. She will only continue to make matters worst and be a hindrance to your success.

I don't wear mine because I don't want to damage it. My husband is OK with it. He does the same thing.

I've learned that there are people who don't want to see you slimmer than they are especially if they are not at their best weight. It's a mind over matter thing and you really have to loose the weight for yourself. Keep pushing through because in the end you will have the last laugh! Loosing 50 lbs is a great thing. While…

I agree with those who said to be honest with him upfront about how you feel. You will have to stay alert about what he wants to do and if it aligns with your goals of leading a healthy life style. If it doesn't then you will have to be strong to make a decision from there. Good luck!

I count water, green tea (packets) mixed in water and water bottles where I add the sugar free drink mixes as my water. I figure if the base is water, then it's water. Drinks like pop, coffee, protein shakes, etc, I don't count as water.
