I have the same GOAL and started at 280 myself... I cut my calories to 1300 and do the elliptical for an hour a day... I burn about 1000 calories a day in exercise.. I have lost 15 lbs since I started MFP. Good LUck !

Hey, I completely understand where you are coming from! It will be hard, and some days will be easier than others.. just remember, its not how many times you fall but how many times you get back up!!

I had a baby 8 months ago and don't get discouraged, your body is holding on to the food so you can feed your little one. Breastfeeding itself will allow you to loose weight. I don't know how long you have been breastfeeding, but it does get easier to loose weight I promise.

Well, I have been doing for about the same amount of time and what has worked for me is remembering to start with a small goal. Realize that sometimes you are gonna fall short, but just remember you can make up for it the next workout. I workout for an hour 4-5 times a week and eat between 1500-1800 calories using mfp. You…
