Starting Weight: 286 Current Weight: 279 7 pounds lost - I also had the flu so that counts for a big chunk of it since I really didn't eat much last week.

I can't quite figure out how to post a pic but there is one in my profile that was taken on the day we got married this summer. Starting weight 286.6 down from 287 last week 10 week goal is between 276-266

I'd be happy with 10 and even happier with 20

Great spreadsheet. Thanks for taking the time to make it. I've added in my starting weight and goal weight. I'm happy to say I didn't gain or lose any during the holidays. It must have been all that walking in DC with my daughter and holding her clothes while she shopped.

Sounds great Guurl!

Great idea! Age: 44 Hieght: 6'0" Daily Calorie Goal: 1789 CW: About 285lbs (it's been going up and down a lot lately though my ticker says I've lost 20, I gained 10 back  ) GW: 170 For this challenge 255 Preferred work-outs: walking, strength training, cycling, eliptical. I'm completely uncoordinated. I tried Zumba…

Hi everyone. My name is Katharine and I'm 44. My husband and I eloped in July. It was just us and absolutely perfect. I have a 15 year old daughter and a 12 year old stepson. I work for a small government contractor in the DC area in bids and proposals so I work long hours and most days I'm lucky if I get up from my desk…

Wow, I sure have missed a ton. Work has been so busy here that I haven't had a change to log in at all and my food choices have really hurt me. I've gained 10 pounds back, but today is a new day and my snack drawer at work is stocked with healthy snacks so I'm back on track today. Thursday truth - I haven't been working…

Happy Wednesday! I've been totally MIA with the weekend and then taking my daughter and her 2 friends to Justin Beiber on Monday night and then driving them home 2 1/2 hours away yesterday. My food choices were horrible but I'm back on track today.

Finally back after the storm. We didn't lose power, just lots of flickering lights. I was completely unmotivated to exercise and I ate lots of junk food and made banana bread during the storm. Getting back on track today.

I've been totally unmotivated this week to exercise, I've been working really long hours and by the time I get home I'm too tired to do anything. This weekend we're going to Hall-O-Scream with my daughter and one of her friends, so we'll be walking a lot. I'm going to use the pedometer app on my phone so I can see exactly…

@Butterfly - thank you for sharing your story. That was me with my first husband and I lived that way for 5 years. We've been divorced for 10 years now and my daughter and I haven't seen him in over 5 years since he remarried. For a long time I blamed myself wondering what I could have done to make him less mad, but I came…

Tuesday Truth - Fell off the wagon for a few days. I restocked my snack drawer at work with healthy stuff so I'm not tempted by the chips.
-
Since I missed yesterday - here is my Thursday Truth. I've been so tired when I got home all week I didn't get to the gym, just ran up and down the 4 flights of stairs in my condo. Friday Fitness - it's supposed to be nice this weekend, so my plan is to wake up really early and get in a good walk.
-
Tuesday goal - to get off my fat a** and workout tonight when I get home.
-
Morning. Was sick last week with the flu so that's why I've been MIA. Back on track this morning and going to workout tonight. No excuses.
-
Oh I wish I hadn't gone either.
-
Thursday Truth - I haven't been working out as much as I planned on this month since my truck was in the shop and we were down to one car, however, I am getting up earlier and getting to work earlier which means I can leave earlier and work out when I get home.
-
@ohpampered - I feel your pain. My ex boyfriend was like that too though he would make comments like "I can't wait til you're thin so you can wear slinkly lingerie" but then bring home junk food. I finally got to the point of telling him that if he wanted it, he would have to spend his money on it. My husband is very…

Friday Fitness - My truck is still in the shop so we're down to 1 car this week. We've been getting up at 5 and getting home at 7 so I haven't really done anything at all.

Trying to catch up with all the posts, but I'm just checking in for now. Weekend wasn't as relaxing as I thought it would be. Wound up working this weekend  I'm up 2 but I think it's just due to TOM. Welcome all the newbies and congrats on all the scale and NSVs!

I've been counting it as aerobics. It should be listed in exercise

This is me as well. Yesterday my car wouldn't start so I had to get a tow and when I was talking to my dad later on about it my mom sent me a text asking why I wasn't more responsible with my vehicle maintenace (I'm usually very type-A) and it brought back all of these memories of her just making me feel so horrible…

Totally prepared. I do the same thing too especially when we go on vacation and I know what restaurants are nearby or located in the hotel, theme park, etc.
-
I just updated my starting weight too. I actually like seeing how far I've come since last fall. It makes me even more motivated.
-
That could be my wish too! I seem to keep losing and gaining the same 4 pounds for weeks now.
-
Wednesday Wish: I wish that there were more hours in the day so I could get more done. I also wish that my weekly late afternoon meeting gets cancelled so I'm not getting home at 7:30 and I'll have enough energy to exercise tonight.
-
Tuesday goals - I need to stay on track this week and not let work stress get to me. I'm doing alot better where it comes to leaving work at work.
-
Monday check-in - I've been MIA since Thursday. Left work with an earache on Thursday, buy the time I got home my muscles were sore, by 8 I was in so much pain that I couldn't be touched since every joint in my body was inflamed. I haven't had a recurence in 2 years since I drastically changed my diet to include more…

My last 3 positions I got through someone seeing my LinkedIn profile. Make sure it's up to date and sell your skills and experience. Network. I don't know what you do, but I belong to a couple of professional organizations where I constantly network just in case. Ditto to previous posters, hit up your friends on Facebook…
