  • I do three lifting exercises and then I do three minutes on the rowing machine (as fast as I can). This raises my heart rate in between sets, and I see myself burning more calories on my lifting days.
  • I am in: February 1: Walking (1 hour) February 2: Swimming 45 min. Circuit training 30 min (1.25 hrs) February 3: Swimming (2 hours)
  • More support the better! Krista kjbristol
  • I was on weight watcher for a while, and there is a scale which allows you to earn points back for exercise. Basically, it was based on your age and the intensity level of your workout. I am not sure if you can google it and find it online. The short answer is yes. Even on Weight Watchers, exercise was a way to let you eat…
  • I also had two 11lb baby boys! I gained about 120 lbs with the first and 40 with the second. I never had a weight problem before, but now, I have been struggling to lose. I lost 50 right after having the second, and then I got stuck. I recently revamped my workout, added a class a day plus cardio, a trainer and started…
  • I have always been thin and had trouble gaining, but after I had two 11 lb baby boys, I got big! And I've never has to lose before! So I was bad at it at first! Lol
  • My now husband was losing his hair when I met him! I still thought and think he is hot! To each is own I guess =)
  • Hey. Be healthy, safe, and happy. 14lbs is amazing! Congrats...no lecture attached. I wish you continued success in your weightless endeavors! I hope it continues and stays off no matter what method you choose. I love mfp bc people are usually so understanding and supportive, so that's what I want to do for you!
  • While I do drink alot of water too, I have been successful dieting on Pepsi Max. It gives me the caffine without all the sugar! And it doesn't taste half bad. I had to start slow and for every pepsi max I drank, I drank one glass of water. You can do it! Baby steps.
  • Sure I'd love to join. I made it from 279 when I had my son to 232 and I'm cruising to the one hundreds now!
  • I lost 15 my first two weeks. It is mostly water weight and soon will drop to a normal amount! Just follow mfp it works!
  • I have the same problem sometimes. I try to fill the last 200 with a protein shake or a small snack, so my body doesn't go into starvation mode. When I did weight watchers, I did not eat nearly as many fruits and veggies, so I think that is the difference. Chances are, you are eating more but they have way less calories.…
  • I wear sloppy clothes and make sure I am comfy because I know I am going to SWEAT! LOL but hell, if you like dressing cute, go for it. It is whatever works for you. Who cares what anyone else thinks?
  • That is tough! I do egg whites, but you could always do a bagel thin (fewer cals and carbs) or a whole wheat english muffin with sugar free jam. I also love oscar meyer turkey bacon for some protein! It is delicious, and two slices only have 2g fat and very low cal! If he can have soy milk, silk is pretty good for cereal…
  • Hi. I'm Krista. I am newer to mfp. I live in fredericksburg, va. I commute daily to dc as I am a full time law student. I am married, and a mother of a ten month old and a two year old. I have a lot if baby weight to lose, and I am looking to make.good friends along the way!
  • Guess what? You are pretty! PERIOD. There is no "if" statement after. And as far as women go, if they told me that I would simply reply with a "I can lose the weight...but ugly is forever!" Don't let people make you feel bad!
  • Definitely don't eat less! I used to do that, and not only did it not work, but it wasn't healthy! You will get so annoyed with it! Surgery messed with my weight loss for a while, but once you heal, you will get back on track. Don't push your body before it is ready!
