Take your measurements and go by that as well. You might lose inches but not pounds especially if you're building muscle. When I first started working out, I could definitely notice my clothes fitting a little looser (a few belt notches) but the scale stayed the same.

I second this! I just started on Thursday. I couldn't bend down or go down stairs for 2 days without some serious pain (I work with preschoolers so I had to get down lower all day long- Yowch!). By today though, I was able to make it through to whole workout without resting or wanting to die. It was still challenging…
