I weigh in Thursday mornings and record on that day. I do get on the scale a few times during the week just so I know how I'm doing!!

I grocery shop every tuesday and I plan out my dinners for the week to make sure I have everything I need on hand. I usually log in my dinners after breakfast, or the night before if I am working. I like planning ahead and being prepared.

I am proud of myself that even though I felt yucky this morning (TOM, tmi :blushing: ) I didn't crawl back into bed after taking my daughter to school, I went out there and still did my walking!!

I'm so happy with my food scale. I was actually under-eyeballing a few things. Which isn't horrible, but if I'm putting down I'm eating 6oz I now know I'm eating 6oz!! :happy:

I just got done entering my dinner into my diary. I am making a new won ton recipe, roast beef slider cupcakes, trying another new recipe, salt and vineger fingerling potatoes, and a veggie!!

I like Oscar Meyer low sodium bacon. 70 calories for two pieces and only 170 sodium!! Much much better than turkey bacon!! You have to enjoy and like what you are eating or you wont be able to do this long term!!

I love potatoes and work them into my meal planning at least twice a week. I just made hasselback potatoes as a side dish for my hubby's birthday this past Sunday. I like roasted red potatoes, with onions and different spices. This is a lifestyle change for me and I will not succeed if I cut out things I love!!

I agree with this!! I gave made a lifestyle change and REFUSE to eat anything I do not enjoy. I plan and budget and get what I want, evevn if it's a few bites or a whole meal. I want to be able to do this forever. I just hit my 100 days today and I can honestly say I DO NOT feel deprived in anyway!!

I have found that when my alarm goes off in the morning I am actually getting up much easier than ever. I am not so sluggish feeling anymore. Don't get me wrong I don't like waking up to an alarm clock, but i am not having to drag myself out of bed.

The other thing I am doing to track my progress is my daughter made me a tshirt with her handprints on it about 5 years ago. I have never been able to wear it because it never fit me. I am gonna check this site out. I am trying to keep an eye on my sodium. Since I have been doing this I have become so much more aware of what has alot of sodium. My blood pressure is good, but I figured it can't hurt to keep my sodium in check. Thanks for sharing.

I have been hooked on a site called foodgawker.com. it has thousands of recipes with pictures (that's one of the reasons I like it). I have seen so many recipes that interest me and have had a good time remaking them to be healthier for me and my family. I am cooking so much more now.
