Hello, I'm also from RVA. Welcome to MFP!! I've been using this app for about 6 weeks and have had great success. Good luck and try and stay cool. I find that because of this crazy heat I find working out in the early AM or late PM or swimming works best for me.

Last week I played tennis with my hubby for an hour straight! I know it doesn't sound like THAT big of an accomplishment but about 6 weeks ago getting up from the couch and manually changing the channel on the tv was exercise ;o)

This website is a great motivational tool. I joined about 30 days ago and started excercising and watching what I eat and I have already lost 10lbs! Welcome to MFP and best of luck to you!!!
