Try adding some fiber in to your breakfast. Fiber + water = full stomach for longer.

One suggestion from my nutritionist: try to eat at least 20g of protein with your breakfast. It gets your metabolism going in the morning. Also, agreed that your sodium goal is a little high. Try bringing it down to 1500.

I have the same problem when I'm at work. I try taking a quick 3-5 minute walk to clear my head. Breathe deeply in through your nose and out through your mouth. Had my wisdom teeth out a while ago and I found that pasta was pretty good. I overcooked it slightly so it was softer and didn't have any trouble eating it. I agree with rsdgirl as well, soups are great as long as you let them cool off.

Drank only water today and didn't have any candy or junk. Kept my food diary COMPLETELY accurate: Finally broke the habit of "if I don't write it down, I can pretend it didn't happen."

I like Bolthouse Farms Protein Shakes. You should watch out for any shakes/bars that have salt or anything hydrogenated listed in the ingredients. The salt will just make you retain water and it's not necessary, it's only added for flavor or as a preservative. Hydrogenated anything means trans-fat and that's not good for…

Drink lots of water and try and keep your sodium below 1500 mg/day. Also, make sure you are getting plenty of protein: this will help build muscle as you lose the fat. Good luck!
