I'm in! And need help with good snack ideas!

I do great all day, then come home starving and want to eat everything in the kitchen! I used to smoke at this time of day, gave that up 10' years ago, but it's still the worst part of the day for me. I have one day, usually Sunday that is my FREE day.

I am new again to mfp. I need to lose 40 pounds. I am 52 years old. I was always thin, with no need/reason to exercise, and it seems all of a sudden - but of course it has been over the past 5 years, when I think about it - that now I weigh more than I ever have in my life. Help! Day 1 - feel like I'm starving.

same here - and I weigh 14 pounds more than on 2/28/2013....let's work together! It really helped me before to be accountable to another fitness pal.!

Level 2 Day 5 in the books, after 5 days off for two very good reasons, o excuses!

Level 2 Day 4. No pounds lost this week, but last night I bought a pair of dress slacks for work ONE size down! And not just a fluke-EVERY pair I tried on fit!!! Whoo hoo!!! Now THAT'S motivating!

Level 2 day 3 ....have really enjoyed this level, way more than level 1, but today was hard! My shoulders were killing me, and I know I have bad form with the pendulum swing things..... But my biggest concern is leaving town til Tues and don't know what to do to get the workout in. Can't really haul the DVD player, and…

I felt so uncoordinated, out of shape, etc , when I started, but after 2 weeks into the shred, I am loving it and actually hate ppt he days I miss a work out!

Don't feel that way! Keep going! I know, this is soooo hard, but I feel better when I complete it. I am on level 1 , day 8 and still can't do it all. This message board helps me though.

Whenever you can't get through something, walk ! If its something with the weights, just keep than and keep moving, but you can change or modify, I have completed day 8 but still can't do the 2nd set of side lunges or jump rope. Keep going !

Day 8 level 1 , still very hard and can't eat through the jump rope segments in the beginning! On weekends I do 30 mins of yoga after the shred.

I feel the same way. Besides having a few with my skinny friends, and my not so skinny friends - it seems like we ALWAYS have something going on to celebrate - and I'm NOT 20 something - I'm 50!!
