"where" you exercise doesnt change how many calories you burn... unless you're not enjoying it. If you dont like going to the gym- clear up some space in your living room and get a workout video & some hand weights ... there are SO many good videos you could do different ones each day. They key is consistnacy. Don't stop.

So based on my research, you should do HIIT no more than 3 days a week... So you could actually do both. I do the 30DS in the mornings before work and then stregnth at night. Its a good routine and makes me feel good throughout the day. Good luck to you!

Try switching up your routine a little bit- Do you use weights on the elliptical ? Try it. Also try doing squats on it or turning up the resistance high.
