2 fruits, heaps of veg, and dairy always sets me over - always! and I set mine to 40g. don't worry about it too much. as long as you aren't going over by heaps, or eating heaps of refine sugar you should be fine.

I'd recommend getting a program done by a personal trainer if you can. Usually PT's do it free as apart of the membership (at least at mine they do every 6-8 weeks). Tell them what your goals are, what you enjoy doing and they can work out a good program for you, and show you how to use the machines. It's important to know…

I usually make egg + egg white omelettes. my favourite is smoked salmon and cream cheese, which is: 1 whole egg 1/2 cup egg whites 30g smoked salmon 12g cream cheese 1/4 lemon dill yum!

I agree with the posture, definitely can see the change. You look amazing, well done and keep it up!

thanks for this! I still try and eat frequently not to "increase my weight loss" but because I can't concentrate well and get irritated when I'm hungry. It also helps with cravings. :) edit: just to clarify, I eat 3 meals a day (around 400 cal each) then 2-3 snacks.

people who do mat work/other work where the TRX is... so you can't use the TRX because someone is there even though there's HEAPS of space elsewhere! people who race you when you're swimming ugh people who don't pack their equipment away

I'm an everything in moderation person so if I want something (usually chocolate) I always have it around and only have a little bit of it. If I were to "cheat" one day I would feel awful that day and the following day.

I have them, never thought they were something special??? I don't think it's weight-related either cos I'm quite heavy!

I don't particularly enjoy breakfast but I eat it otherwise I feel sick and dizzy. It's the only meal I can't skip without feeling sick! I usually only have 300-400 calories for breakfast so it's my smallest meal, but I make sure I eat something that gets me going - good amount of protein and complex carbs and fiber.
-
I don't see why it wouldn't help. I eat high fat foods (good fats) as listed above and am losing weight. :)
-
high fat foods that are calorie dense... olive oil, nuts, avocados etc will easily bump you up to 1200+ calories...
-
skim milk - any brand out of the fridge, all tastes the same to me I have devondale skim milk poppers and they don't taste as good... pretty blah

I gained 10kg during my HSC! :/ I've almost lost all of it... 2+ years later! I always bring my own food to uni, I find that helps. Always bring extra, it's better to bring food home then come home hungry or eating uni food! Also prioritise exercise! Try not to get too caught up doing uni work, ensure you have made enough…

I'm in Sydney - from the Northern Beaches :) I workout at Virgin Active, trying to motivate myself to get outside more though..!!

I can see the changes in your picture - well done! Sometimes people don't know what to say, or if they should say anything. I've had people ask me if I've lost weight then say "I noticed before but didn't know if I should've said anything" so maybe people are noticing, just not saying anything! Don't get too worried about…

oh it's the best when you feel like crap! I always crave exercise when I'm doing uni work.. I try and rush it and finish early so I can go to the gym! very easy to get addicted.
-
yes, definitely. I am so moody when I don't exercise. it's the best way to de-stress!
-
Yes. That's probably the best way for you to start out given the state of your current physical health.

40/30/30 cpf. Working well for me so far.

I've never been one for fast food, but it still makes me sick! I get sick after 25g of chocolate too ahhh. I just remind myself that it makes me sick, which makes it easier to stay away from it or only have a little bit!
-
Just bring your own food and politely decline theirs. I do this a lot. If they say something like "oh eat that for dinner" just make an excuse and say it will go off/gross by the time you eat it for dinner.
-
I find that I go over (usually have 40g a day, give or take) and that's just from fruit, vegetables, and dairy. I think you should be sugar conscious to an extent, but don't worry too much if your sugar is from natural sources. If you're that worried, maybe ease down on the granola bars if you want.
-
I think that would work fine, as long as you put it in the fridge the night before!
