Nope, I do not have an iphone.

BRAVO!!!! Well said, my sentiments EXACTLY!!! It is a very personal choice and you cannot judge others for having the surgery without knowing their life long struggles and factoring what helped them make that decision to choose WLS. It is a TOOL that helps you lose weight. I work my *kitten* off.... I go to the gym and…

wow!!!! You look fabulous!!! You inspire me. I too have been overweight my ENTIRE life and although I've lost 111 lbs, I am struggling with the last 25 lbs and the amount of fat around my middle (and inner thighs and triceps). But looking at your picture....WOW! Amazing. I'll have to mix things up and maybe try some new…

Love popcorn too... as for the cool whip thing, I used to make "ice cream" by keeping the light/fat free cool whip in the freezer and then mixing in one of those little individual mixed fruit cups....YUMMY!!!!

Me too! I have a sweater that I leave here at work and a blanket too ;-)

Yep! My mom and I are ALWAYS cold. My boyfriend makes fun of me because I always, I mean ALWAYS make sure I have a sweater in my car or I take one with me when we are out and about. I can't leave home without it! Grocery stores and movie theaters are the worst. Good job on your weight loss ;-)

This was great! Thanks for sharing ;-) My BF and I actually met AT the gym, in spin class no less. But now that he's in law school he's stopped going to the gym and pouts when I either come late (cuz I hit the gym after work) or tries to persuade me to skip a weekend workout. He's getting better and now he'll stop and say…

I read this the other day but haven't tried it. Try some canned pumpkin and add a little bit of all spice, pumkpin spice or even some brown sugar. I heard the pumpkin is a great way to add extra fiber. Sounds yummy :-) I always eat my oatmeal at work and they have these land o lakes individual half and half creamers. I use…

God yes! :-( My starting weight was 265, my goal weight is 130 and I am currently at 155.6. I used to wear sizes 22/24s (and sometimes 26s even...and I'm short... around 5'2"). I now wear a 10 and mostly L tops (because of my boobs and my tummy...bummer) but every now and then can fit into an M top. I do a toning sculpting…

YAY!!!!! Amazing accomplishment ;-) You look wonderful. Stay dedicated, committed, and motivated. You can and WILL reach your goal.

Wow! If your story isn't inspiring & motivating, I don't know what is! First of all, sorry for your loss. But I am glad that you WERE able to put one foot in front of the other and move forward. You look amazing!!!! Congrats on your success and a sincere thanks for sharing your story.

I eat oatmeal almost every morning when I'm at work. I always use 2-3 of the Land o lakes mini moos (individual coffee creamers -- 10 cals each!) and add a little bit of cinnamon sugar to mine. I read, but have not yet tried, that adding a bit of canned pumpkin mix (as well as a tad of all spice or pumpkin spice) added…

Also to be filed under the "this might be boring" category.... I absolutely LOVE the tortilla soup from Pappasito's... Chicken, avocado, carrots, zucchini, squash, tortilla strips and cheese.... YUM! (I am a tortilla soup addict ;-) As far as dessert, Sea World in San Antonio has a funnel cake sundae..... funnel cake,…

LOL! What a great forum. I too am a recent convert to Nutella. Like you, I had heard of it, but never tried it. Until last Christmas. My boyfriend's mother (they are from Bulgaria) put some chocolate coins and a jar of Nutella in our stockings. I was like, "huh?" But then I tried it and was in love!!!! And I am a peanut…

Wow! Amazing. I fall into the cardio trap. I know I have to do more resistance training. I currently take a toning & sculpting class twice a week and try to strength train on my own at least once a week. I know I need to add more. You may have given me the push I needed. Thanks!

While my surgeon is more strict with procedures following a fill, I was never given specific calorie restrictions post op. I was given a list of foods and a schedule. I can't remember off the top of my head (this was in January of 2008) but I think I was on liquids for 2 or 3 weeks then soft foods for a few more weeks. I…

Great topic. Although I think it would be even better to make healthier food less expensive. Fast food is cheap, let's be honest. When I'm out running around and I think, "Hmmm... I want a smoothie" I'm paying close to $5 for that smoothie (if I go to Smoothie King and that's for a small!!!). Even at Jack in the box, a…

It's tough but you'll get through it! My doc has me on liquids for 5 days after a fill. Drink a lot of water. Try the crystal light hunger satisfaction or my new favorite thing -- yogi slimlife tea... it's blueberry tea and it's an appetite suppressant and energizer. I also like the 100 calorie starbucks frappucino bottled…

Gossip Girl! Ultimate guilty pleasure since I'm almost 35! But I got my boyfriend hooked on it and my sister too!

I actually looked this up awhile ago for myself but haven't made it.... I just thought the idea of using a muffin pan was BRILLIANT! http://www.dietsinreview.com/recipes/taras-turkey-mini-meatloaf/ Tara's Turkey Mini-Meatloaf Biggest Loser season 7 all-star Tara Costa's favorite ranch recipe. That is amazing! Congrats.... you look fabulous and you have worked HARD and have been relentlessly dedicated to achieve those results. Proud to have you on my friends list :-) You inspire me!

Those are beyond delicious ;-)

That's a great idea! I've seen other people write that but I haven't actually tried it.... I might now just to experiment ;-)

It's funny but 100 lbs ago, I worked out because I HAD to. Now I work out because I LOVE to. I love the sweat as it drips off when I KNOW I am pushing myself in spin class or out on a jog. I LOVE that now I have replaced "heading through the drive through" with "I'm going to the gym" when I am feeling stressed /overwhelmed…

Oh, but that cinnamon butter is beyond DIVINE :-) Good thing I can't handle too much bread anyway!

Welcome! You are at the right place for motivation & support. I have been there too as far as losing weight and then coming to a standstill due to losing your way/focus/dedication/motivation/passion. MFP has been an excellent source for all of the above. Sending a friend request!

I, like a lot of people here, look up the menu online and see what my options are. Last week my boyfriend's mom took us to Outback to celebrate my bf's birthday. I really couldn't find anything that jumped out at me. My usual options are soup and salad... but those were HUGE calorie bombs! So my #2 option? KIDS menu!…

Well done! Remember, this weight loss journey is all about these little choices we make here and there. Like your day today, that's great! You can still go to your favorite places you just have to have a plan in place. Whether it means looking at the nutritional info online or just making a healthier swap or even having a…

I've heard people talk a lot about Fogo de Chao. http://www.fogodechao.com/ My friend and her BF went to Reunion Tower in Dallas, that is supposedly pricey AND cool (because of the view). Do the aquarium! I love going to the zoo and aqauariums. Never been to the one in Dallas thouogh, so you can tell me all about it.…
