It won't hurt to try it out. Maybe replace the meat you would use in a dish with diced potatoes, or a veggie that absorbs the flavor, like squash, zucchini or beans. My mom wasn't a vegetarian, but when she didn't have ground beef or chicken, she would get creative. She makes the best mashed potatoes tacos and veggie rice.

Its when people that you are not as close to or haven't seen in a very long time that notice. I've has more friends make comments than my own mother, but I see her looking at me or my waist. People will notice. Keep it up!

I sometimes I guess and log it under quick calories, or I pick apart the food I ate to log it in. It's a hassle.

I use to order Wendy's grilled cesar salad, but they changed their salads. Now they're higher in cals. I have been doing the shred since the end of April and I've seen more of a difference in inches than wieght. I sometimes double up on the the Shred and do 2 levels = 40 mins. I'll switch it up, depending on how I'm feeling. I'll do level 1 and 2 or Level 3 with walking a fast pace about 2 miles. I'm in a wedding in August,…

Pets do help to get you out of bad mood. I ended up doing Jillian Michaels' 30 day shred, level 1 and 2, which made me feel better. I need to look into getting a punching bag! I don't usually write blogs, but I have to admit that it helped and I didn't give into "bad food." Thanks everyone for the support!

Maybe start by setting smaller goals and work your way up to a bigger goal. I started doing Julianna Micheals videos. I started with the 30 day shred (20min), then later I bought her 40 min videos. Just do what you can to start and push yourself as you go. Once you start, you'll feel better.

I have the same problem, but now I picked a day that I weigh myself once a week, in the morning (Wed.). I was weighing myself daily a couple of months ago and it will only start to discourge you. I have this similar problem, everyone eats chocolate in my house. I think it helps to eat a little protein to stop you from diving into the bad. Try 1 hard boiled egg with a pinch of salt & pepper, maybe with 1 cracker or a slice of light cheese.
