I understand the concept, but the way people say it really sounds like they beleive that a pound of muscle is going to show up as more weight.
-
You are correct on the pint thing, although it really isn't.

Yes and sometimes even more than once a day. Seems to keep me thinking of where I am going and where I want to be.
-
I have not heard of it. Since I don't eat meat, I never pay much attention to different diets though. They almost always have menus that I could never do.

You will be just fine, I go to them often with my husband and step son. I make myself go for the salad section first. Fruit and fresh salad veggies, and I try to use squeezes of lemon juice for my salad. Or many times they have vinegar on the salad bar. I have a tendency to take a small bottle of balsamic to restaurants…

I got a polar as per what I saw people on here talk about the most. I got a polar ft7 because it was on sale for the same price as the polar ft4. They are about the same, one is a newer model. You will want one with a chest strap as the ones without one will not be any more acurate than the info you get off the data base.…

There is a chinese dish with caulifower that is so good. It uses pork and I dont eat meat, but have had the vegetarian version. Cauliflower chow yok. It has a fermented black bean gravy and green onions with a scrambled egg worked into the sauce. Might have to google the recipe as I know I could stir it up from scratch but…

Thats good to know because if you were 99, then I think you should be advising us on what to eat.

You think twins could be born 30 years apart? lol Maybe mother/daughter.

I live in West Texas and they were at a health food store. I also have seen a few of them at Albertsons before. I found their web site after someone mentioned the correct name. Walden farms zero calorie foods
-
I didn't buy any because to me it just seemed too weird. It is walden farms, after you said that I googled it and that is what it is. They actually looked good, but it says they have been around since 72, so I am thinking it must not be that good or it would of been popular enough that everyone would of heard of it by now
-
The label said zero calories
-
I was thinking the same thing.
-
These are not just fat free.................. they are calorie free.
-
Fat free still does not mean calorie free. I am sure even the fat free dressing had at least 25 calories a tbls if not more. This stuff was calorie free.
-
Even if you did eat 3500 extra calories extra one day, it still would not have time to turn into an actual pound of fat overnight.
-
Dont cook the lettuce though........... just put it in a bowl and add the noodles at the end.
-
I was married to a Chinese Chef and he used to use shredded lettuce in his ramen noodles in place of bean sprouts at times. Also a small amount of sesame oil drizzled in the bowl at the end give it that wok flavor. Great with hot oil too. We used to break a few pieces of aspargus in them. Or add a broken egg in the stock…

Wow you look petite, tiny and cute!

I have seen people doing this on tv. It is crazy how much useable food is wasted. I was a manager in a major chain grocery store for years and it was very sad to see all the waste. The store I worked for did not allow things that were still good but expired to be sold, or given away.
-
I even use green beans in place of pasta. The french green beans are the best for the sauce.

I met my husband in a chat room 14 years ago. I wont go into all of the specifics here, but we lived over 1500 miles apart. We talked online and the phone for a year before we met. We continued taking 2 week vacations together twice a year for 7 years. After the kids were all grown and graduated from high school, he moved…

I can imagine at that weight you would look very thin to me. A small clothing size, and on the tall and skinny side. I also can't imagine I am the weight I am. I am 300 lbs. and while I know I am big, when I see a picture or catch a glance in a reflection from a store glass, I am discusted and mortified. I seem to swere…
