No offense meant to the OP...but this type of question always baffles me. If you have a hard time consuming more than 1200 calories and you are here because you have weight to lose, I wonder how on earth did you put weight on in the first place? Not that I'm proud of it but I could EASILY down 1200 for breakfast. Having…

I am just about to finish Stage 2 of New rules of lifting for women and today one of my colleagues stopped mid sentence and said "I'm sorry, but I have to ask you...what are you doing? Your arms are SO SCULPTED!" I could have kissed her.

Wow, MFP, this IS an international site - how terribly North American of you. In the UK, Mothers Day has already passed. In NA it is coming up.

So would you intend to then practice law in Canada? The Canadian legal system is very different from the American one, so if you want to actually practice law when you graduate, you'll cause yourself lots of added work if you get a law degree in Canada and then move back to the US. I won't pretend to know anything about…

LOL - thanks - I just wondered what people think when we are out together - it's actually my son and he's 16 - I'll be 40 in a couple weeks.

THIS I go to WW meetings for support and accountablitiy, but I log my food and exercise here on MFP instead of following the points. It might seem silly to pay to go to meetings and not even follow the progrma, but it's what currently works for me. And PS I am a Life Time Member at WW which I achieved following Points.…

O M G, I think I'm in love. My friends, family and coworkers would never buy me anything like this because they would all assume that I wouldn't want it but secretly, I hope someone gives me a nice little chocolate for Easter.

:D I love this. If I had done the same thing, our graphs would be nearly identical.

I agree with cmulleni - depends on where you are planning to where it. For me it isn't necessarily how big you are, but how firm you are and how well you can contain what you have. Rolls and other bits sticking out here and there need to be confined. :D I personally am shy of the stomach bearing because of ridiculous…

Every time I am near a scale...seriously. For sure every morning before hitting the shower and again when I get home and change into casual clothes. Usually again before bed. And often while I'm at the gym. It's an obsession. But it's more a game to see how different things affect the scale - clothes, high sodium meals,…

This! I REALLY wanted to LIKE running. I put a lot of effort into getting "better" at it in the hopes that I would eventually like it. I even managed a 5K race in May, injuring myself in the process; spent the last 8 months in physio and have finally come to the conclusion that I will never like it and it will never like…

My husband calls me Sk8r (and always writes it that way) because I figure skate. I suppose it's a nickname but he's the ONLY person who calls me that. G is the first initial of my last name.

Too bad life isn't in pictures! My 18 year old daughter says I DO look in my 20s in pictures but more like early 30s in real life. LOL. I'll be 40 this year, so I'll take either! :D

Oh I LIKE this game.

Try to remember what made you care in the first place. How will you feel if you just curl up in that ball and put back on the 51 lbs. Will it feel good? Will you be kicking yourself for not caring before you redid the damage? Cut yourself some slack. It's never easy. Make one good choice at a time. And if they aren't all…
