This is my worst fear. I have gone over this scenario in my head, just in case this happens to my daughter. My main piece of advice is to be empathetic but HONEST. I am presuming that your daughter is smart enough, and self-aware enough to know that she doesn't look or feel as good as she could. Your job (all of our jobs…

I can't see your diary, so I don't know what your fiber intake looks like. However, this is fairly common for any diet change. your system gets backed up, you need roughage! Nuts, whole grains, broccoli, and apples just to name a few. Avoid red meat, go easy on the cheese, and start exercising. AND DRINK YOUR WATER, it…

It sounds like jealousy. Misery loves company, and he is probably miserable in his body, and wants you to feel the same. He might be afraid that if you're getting in shape, that means he has to look at himself and possibly realize there are things he could improve as well.

Absolutely nothing against it. In fact I always have a one handy after my workout, I was just wondering how important the timing was.

A person can maintain 1200 calories for a short amount of time before their body will start to feel deprived. Try upping your calories to at least your BMR and add in some strength training and/or interval cardio. I know when I was eating 1200 calories, I was cranky, fatigued, and just didn't feel satisfied.

Me too. I keep my body guessing by changing my routines...plus I have the attention span of a humming bird. If I want to be consistently active, I have to change my work out regimens whether that is with yoga, running, swimming, boot camp or interval training.

I REALLY want one, but haven't made the leap yet.
-
You're amazing! Two weeks? Wow. Just Wow. Great work!

I wish I had this problem! When I do cardio in the morning, I will eat normally for the rest of the day...but I do boot camp at 645 pm 3 times a week, I feel icky if I eat before, and afterward I can barely chug my protein shake. However, to answer your question, I have a friend that feels starved after workouts. She has a…
