  • Awesome, you are a life saver! Thank you so much!!
  • This is kind of off topic, but is there actually a way to ignore someone? Do you not see their comments in the threads? Could you share the secret? There is a person who is always posting such nasty and hateful things in almost every thread I read and I would love to not have to see that anymore.
  • From what I have gathered, it depends on how you set your activity level. If your activity level is set to sedentary, then you should log your exercise. If you set it to active because you work out everyday, then I wouldn't log it because MFP already factors it in and gives you more calories.
  • I'm going to guess that the part that upset her the most was the "so" at the beginning of your consoling. To me, that was dismissive and I'm sure she felt that same way. It's disheartening to work your butt off and not lose that much. Yes, 1 lb is still a loss, but it could/should have been more. Maybe next time leave "so"…
  • Thanks for the input. I guess it makes sense that because it is small it would have a negligible amount of calories. I was kind of hoping I could pickle some pizza and eat all I wanted  I guess not :( :brokenheart: I still don't completely understand but I guess I will leave it filed under the complex questions I…
  • You look amazing! Congrats!
  • Congratulations! I gave up soda for the most part a few years ago. I still have them occasionally but try to limit it. Sometimes I just need a pepsi :) Keep up the great work. Maybe once you kick your habit you will be able to have them on occasion without going back to drinking them all the time.
  • I'm sorry you are having a tough time. Unfortunately this is a hard journey you have decided to take on. But the biggest thing is finding what works for YOU. Lots of people have already found what works for them, but maybe it won't for you. If you are already losing, then keep doing what you are doing. If you aren't…
  • A bunch of people at my work say this. It drives me crazy but then I start to doubt myself and think maybe I'm the one that's wrong saying across...
  • I would say Lori as well. She really gets on my nerves. She thinks because she is Rick's wife she can do whatever she wants but she can't. So stupid. I just realized I have a concert on Oct. 14th which is when Walking Dead starts again. I'm so sad but excited for the concert. I hope WD will come OnDemand so I can watch it…
  • Well...I need my head, I know that for sure. And I had braces that were extremely costly so I wouldn't get rid of my teeth either. But all great suggestions. Susan, you are doing an awesome job, I'm very proud of you! Guardian, my older brother (almost 30) says that and I want to punch him in the face every time. I don't…
  • Once I put on the last 50 pounds I stopped getting me TOM. Once I started losing a little weight it would come sporadically, and for the last 3 or 4 months I have had it every month but the intensity is always different. You body is probably just trying to get back into a regular cycle. From what I understand weight really…
  • I think most people have those days where it seems like one not so great choice leads to another and another. Just remember tomorrow is a new day to make better choices. You can do it. Great job so far, 42 lbs is an awesome loss.
  • I lost an automobile tire. Woohoo!
  • Wow, you look amazing. Not that you didn't before of course  You are truly an inspiration. I have at least 150 to lose and I just hit the 20 lbs lost mark this weekend. I am super excited about that, but I can't wait until I see results like yours. May I ask how long it took you to lose that weight? I bet you are the…
  • Awesome suggestion! I'm going to have to try that! Thanks for sharing
  • Thank you. I knew basically what the idea was I just wasn't sure exactly what the acronym stood for.
  • I have been using Ken's Steakhouse lite balsamic vinaigrette. It is really good and only 60 cal for 2 Tbsp.
  • The weekend is a huge struggle for me as well. It's easy to eat healthy at work because I don't have bad food to eat. But at home there is tons of temptation everywhere. Saturday nights are family nights centered around food. My mom and my aunt are now on this weight loss journey with me, so we try to choose healthier…

  • My golden retriever is Sadie and my husbands mutt is Thumper. Best dogs ever!
  • I made this last night to have for lunch today. I added some cilantro and garlic but left out onions because I hate them. It is sooooo good. And it was really easy to make. It took maybe 5 minutes to cut everything up and mix it together. I plan to eat it with romaine lettuce leaves like a taco. I tastes good just by…
  • Thank you for sharing this. Who doesn't need new recipes?
  • Wow. You look awesome. Thank you so much for sharing this with all of us. I started my journey at 301 lbs. I am now down 13 lbs and already so proud. I would like to lose at least 150 pounds, maybe 180 depending on how I feel once I get there. Sometimes it gets so overwhelming to think of all the weight I have to lose. But…
  • I made these last night and they were really good. My husband really enjoyed it as well. The only thing that I would say is it is kind of a waste to put it in the crockpot. If you cook the meat before you put it in, then just add everything to the skillet and let it melt down. It would probably take all of 10 minutes as…
  • My mom makes awesome Halibut. She BBQ it. She melts butter with cilantro, fresh sliced garlic and some lemon juice and then bastes the fish with it. It is so good! Just spray the grill so the fish doesn't stick or use foil over the grill grates. Hope it helps! Enjoy!

  • These recipes sound great! Thanks everyone for sharing!
  • Best advice I can give is don't let this derail you. Tomorrow is a new day and you can start over. Don't give in to the temptation to throw in the towel.
  • I wish I could! I'm at work, so I'm chained to the thing. I take frequent breaks though so it's not quite so bad.
  • I have been to the doctor several times, it's just migraines, no underlying cause. They run in my family. My mom has them pretty much everyday so it's not really something I can avoid. I do know that certain foods trigger them so I avoid them as much as possible. I had been prescribed some pills but they didn't really…
