  • It's something you need to talk about with your future husband, up front. Don't assume that he's okay with it just because he probably knows it about you and might like it. He might assume you'll tone down after marriage. He might not actually know how big of a flirt you are. Who knows? Talk to him and get a clear…
  • I would assume frozen, since most people who weigh their foot do so before cooking, not after. It's a good question, though, and I'm not really sure. I just go by the serving count (so if it says 3oz = 11 fries, I put 11 fries on the pan).
  • Definitely. My partner likes guys who are a little bit chubby (lucky for me!). I like guys who look like Zac Efron. lol
  • Eggs, Quinoa, Tofu, Beans, Cheese, Peanuts.... But I am a vegetarian and I've had to add protein shakes to my daily diet, because I wasn't getting nearly enough, even with all these protein rich foods. If you need a lot of protein and you aren't going to eat much meat, you might not have much choice but to add supplements.…
  • I'm assuming you want health-conscious recommendations? If you're just anti-oil.. you could always use mayonnaise. :P
  • Yes! Yum! I consider this one of my "good fat/calorie" kinda foods. I use avocado on veggie tacos and veggie sandwiches... especially guilt-free if you spread the avocado on the sandwich in place of a dressing/mayo/whatever else you might have used.

  • I prefer Ripped in 30 to 30-Day Shred. But these programs are also more geared toward inches lost and strength-building/general fitness (unless you follow the diet plan in Ripped in 30 to the tee - then you might lose a significant amount of weight, but you won't be building much muscle...which isn't good...)
  • If you're geared more specifically toward weight loss, I would suggest the lean. There is a lot of strength training in the classic and doubles - which leads to building muscle (which will, eventually, lead to fat loss and probably weight loss, but since you're going to be going for pounds loss, I would say strength…
  • Mine is open - add away. :)
  • I adjust mine every 10 pounds (and I think MFP will prompt you to adjust yours once you've reached a new 10 pound loss, actually).
  • I'm in the middle of Week 6. 1. I've had to buy all new pants and some new shirts (was wearing 36" pants when I started. I'm wearing 33" today). 2. The belt I bought in January no longer fits - I put it on today (with my new smaller sized pants) and it's actually just kinda hanging there in the front, not doing anything.…

  • ^^Yep - that too!
  • Everything is a touchy issue with that one.. browse the forums and see. ;P As for cookies/breadcrumb substitute, I'm not sure how well the instant oatmeal would work for that. The oats seem smaller/more powdery than traditional plain oats. I'm with the others who suggest mixing the flavors ..half plain & half something…
  • I use Nature's Best Low Carb Isopure 100% Whey Isolate (Dutch Chocolate) and I love it. 25g protein per scoop. http://www.gnc.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2929310 105 cals. 25g Protein. 1.5g Carbs. (Per scoop).
  • If you're eating fuit, you're going to go over your sugar "limit." I eat at least three whole fruits a day (orange, apple, and banana) and usually add some mixed berries in there most days as well. I go over my sugar limits 9 days out of 10. Some people ignore fruits in their diaries, some people don't enter them at all,…

  • DEFINITELY looking forward to that farewell!
  • Hahaha... small goals! Lol
  • Wow - great work! And that was an awesome idea, too. Wish I would've done something similar. =/
  • The Jillian Michaels DVDs are pretty awesome. I like structure, so after doing 3 rounds of P90X I moved onto Body Revolution by Jillian Michaels (another 90 day program) and I'm loving it so far (6 weeks in). Her Banish Fat & Boost Metabolism is a good stand-alone, but her Ripped in 30 program, 30 Day Shred program, and 6…
  • ^^^Agreed - except I wouldn't grab fuit before bed. Too much sugar.
  • Strength/Resistance training. Best way to lower body fat % is to build some muscle (which also burns fat).
  • 270 for an hour of Insanity does sound low, but your #'s for the treadmill and elliptical sound right to me.
  • You can buy them anywhere (Wal-mart, Target, Meijer, Albertsons/Safeway, GNC, etc.) and you can find lower calorie ones (usually the low carb ones) that are decent. I use Isopure Low Carb Chocolate - 25 grams of protein per scoop & only 2 carbs/110 (ish) calories. I usually mix it into a shake or glass of milk.
  • I definitely get full from eating a salad... BUT I don't stay full very long. I try to include my veggies in other things, because salads just aren't all that appealing to me as a meal.
  • Another assumption. I'm actually a gay man, and body image issues are quite a bit worse in my community. So, I DO know and I still think you're wrong. Maybe women in general are just more aggressive drivers? I've often noticed that they're more likely the ones to race me on the road. :P
  • Bump because I can't be the only short guy! Maybe the only shortie who will admit it? Haha
  • Interest rates are supposed to double in July. =-/
  • Boo. Another waste-of-time thread. Take your rants to your own wall. Or see a therapist.
  • I wish he would have replaced Howie Mandel, and not the cool British guy.
  • I just started eating the Go-Lean oatmeal. >.<
