I see two kinds of cheese pizzas from Pizza Villa. Sicilian Cheese has 29 grams of fat per serving (slice) and Neapolitan Cheese has 19 grams of fat per serving (slice). It's fine to eat these kinds of things once in a while - but I think the question to ask yourself is: was it worth it? If you're willing to give over an…

^^This (except I enter mine on Sundays).

There are quite a few moves which required you to be on your knees...without any real work-around, unfortunately.

I was wondering about this too.... but even later. I almost always wake up in the middle of the night (2am-ish) with a huge desire to get a snack. Previously, this would be my binge eating time, so maybe it's left over from those days, or maybe I just get hungry at that time. I sometimes grab a granola bar or something…

I'm using my own as well... the green one that came with my program sucks. I just knew it was gonna break and slap me in the face.

I'm not sure, though. I'm actually scared about losing muscle... I went through 3 rounds of p90x before this, which has much more intense strength building workouts in it (and more Cardio). I think it's a step backwards for me, really... but I'm going to see it through. I might just have to find a way to really buckle down…

Well - Kickstart Week / Week 1 is done! Tomorrow (Sunday) is rest day. I'll probably go for a 30-minute walk or slow jog, and do an hour of stretching. All-in-all, I did like the Kickstart Week workouts, but I'll be adding extra Cardio AT LEAST 3 times per week. I might go to the gym in the morning and do the half hour…

Hmm... the calculator says my BMR is 1834 but that I should eat 2457 calories per day? Not sure how that works...

Good for you! Good luck on your journey!

My dog was epileptic... we had to put her on medication to help control the seizures. This many seizures so frequently seems to me very serious, though. Possibly a tumor on the brain or spinal cord - something that might be impacting the nervous system.

I would definitely suggest adding strength training - probably twice per week (and keep doing cardio 3 or 4 days). Not only will it help with the excess skin issue, but it also helps boost your metabolism and burn calories throughout the day / when you're at rest. Lean muscle is constantly working, so constantly burning…

^^^Agreed. Shadow-boxing is my suggestion, too.

^^This. I went through Workouts 1 & 2 + Cardio 1 the first time, then for the next scheduled day of each, I just increased weights - used weights when "optional" (like when she's punishing Omar!) and tried to do the more advanced moves where I could (except when she moves from push-ups into planks... HATE that).

Psh. All women say they want guys with scruff and rough hands, but then they want to marry doctors, lawyers, and other non-hand-roughening professionals. PSH I SAY!

^^^ This. I can't imagine a lot of things and I can't know for sure whether or not I'll like/appreciate/enjoy things, until I experience them. The books were good (not the BEST!EVER! in my opinion, but good). The movie is getting great ratings. The story has a point. *shrug*

I agree with some of the later posters. It's not "Single" OR "Married." My partner and I went from dating (not technically attached) to exclusive (still kinda felt like single but then some?) to being in a committed relationship (i.e. we both agreed that we were not going to see anybody else and would let people know it)…

1. People have their own opinions/tastes/feelings about everything and are entitled to them. 2. Some people need to learn to be tactful and/or to keep said opinions to themselves.

Totally agree. I just posted about this the other day... both warm-up and cool-down/stretch are completely inadequate. I also wish she would have included a stretching DVD to use on rest days (as p90x does). Oh well... as Tim Gunn says.. "Make it work."
-
In agreement with all - rest is also very, very important. The body needs recovery time. I go 6 days a week (sometimes twice per day) and day 7 is rest day. I will sometimes do an hour of stretching or go for a walk, but no "working out."

Good to know! haha
