Thanks for all the replies! Great to see so many still exercising regularly. Y'all are great motivation to keep moving and keep healthy :). Do all of you feel as though the regular exercise is helping to keep your weight gain in a healthy range? I know the amount of gain depends more on diet, but I personally find that…

LS, congratulations! It is so exciting! Have you told your families yet? Viglet, you're gonna be starting over completely with a newborn again! But hopefully your 9 year old will be a big helper :). Is your oldest a boy or girl? I have a 20 month old little boy. So far I'm trying to average around 2000 calories a day, and…

Incredible story! Thank you for sharing!

I've never dyed my hair, but I did get my highlights retouched several times in my first pregnancy. He's perfectly fine. I plan to do it during this pregnancy too. Actually I need to make an appointment. Thanks for reminding me :)

Need this for extra motivation for the future rough patches. You all look fantastic!

Holy cow, you look AMAZING! I love your stomach!

I used to feel the same way. Now I love running. Download a C25K app. It works, promise.

I have issues with this too. What I've found that works the best for me is to plan a "cheat day" into my weekly calorie deficit. So for 6 days of the week, I'll eat 1600ish calories, then one day a week, I'll allow myself to go up to more like 3000 calories. That way I know I always have that day to look forward to. Really…

I absolutely love this thread! Thanks to all of you for your confessions and making me (and probably the majority of people on this site) feel so normal! Some of mine: -frosting...straight out of the jar with a spoon -ordering an appetizer, entree, and dessert from a restaurant and eating every last bite...by myself -an…

I actually think blueberries are great frozen, not thawed. My son loves them that way too. We just eat them by themselves.

This is why I get up early in the morning to exercise before my 1 year old is awake/before getting ready for work. I would never do it at the end of the day. I would always find an excuse not to. Exercise becomes your "you" time. And a bonus: exercising in the morning gives me more energy to tackle the rest of the day. Win…

Incredible!!

OP, I'm glad you've found what works for you. Best of luck on your journey!

I'm right there with you, except I'm still working on getting it off after more like 5 years! I still eat there fairly often though because it's just so. dang. good.

Cheese fries. Mmmmmmm

This is fantastic! Congrats and keep up the good work!

I was overweight, almost obese, when I got pregnant with my first (187 at 5'6.5"), and still ended up gaining 60 pounds by eating everything in sight, topping out at 248 the day I had my son. My only advice would be: DON'T DO WHAT I DID! Lol. But seriously, I was lucky to have a very easy pregnancy despite being so…

Another vote for boy shorts.

I'm with ya! It's tough. I have to work out first thing in the morning or I will find an excuse not to do it. Every. Single. Time. I work 10 hour days, 4 days a week with about a 2 hour commute each day, so my days are long. For me what works is making sure I'm in bed by 9:30ish so I can get up between 5-5:30 to get my…

I work out at the crack of dawn, but you already knew that :). Force yourself to not hit snooze and just get up and do it that first 4, 5, 6, etc days and it will get MUCH easier after that. It's a habit now, and even on my rest days I find myself waking up earlier than I have to.

Another vote for C25K. I was extremely out of shape when I started. I remember feeling like I was absolutely going to die during those 1 minute jogging intervals the first week, but, sure enough, I could run for 30 minutes non-stop by the end of it. It really works.

Greek yogurt or some type of fruit and string cheese.

170. I got down to 170 about 5 years ago and never could go lower than that no matter how much I played with my calories and exercise. Got pregnant, gained it all back, and now here I am....sitting at 170 again, playing with my calories and exercise...and nothing's happening again. I'm starting to think I'm just never…

I lost 50 pounds about 5 years ago and kept it off for about 3 years, give or take 10 pounds. Then I got pregnant and used it as an excuse to eat anything and everything and gained it all back plus some. I'm now well below my pre-pregnancy weight, thinking about baby #2, and determined to not make the same mistake twice.

I totally had this happen the other day. I looked down and saw knee caps! What?! I forgot those existed lol. Congrats girl! ETA: The next step is your collarbones. I never realized how feminine it would make me feel to see those little babies again! By far my favorite part of this journey so far.
