PS - you can also do this every other day for a short time - one day under or on your calorie count, one day over - again it should kick start the metabolism agian

Agree - take a 'few days off' and go over your calorie allowance, then go back to the controlled diet - it tricks your metabolism out of its 'I am getting used to this intake' mode its in now.

If you think you will benefit from it, and if you think that you can take the time out of your life to do it, then what have you got to lose, except some pounds... and I think its easier to do things like this when you have a group of like minded people around you - you can motivate each other.. so I say go for it

I did once find a good site that listed all kinds of everyday 'exercises' (like gardening, mowing the lawn, hoovering etc) and it did list how many cals would be burned by sex... however, I don't have the link any more. Just googled it and one site said 170 cals per hour.

agree with the others - you don't have to, but it does help. I have to be honest with you - I find it really tough to go to the gym, but love walking and going out on my bike (if its not raining or icy) which are both great exercises... so my advice is find something you like to do, like dancing, walking, golf, etc... then…
