As mentioned, when losing weight, what matters is less calories consumed than burned. That being said, you shouldn't just make a diet of carbohydrates and fat with no protein. You might lose weight, but you won't be gaining a lot of muscle tone, which most people losing weight are looking for.

It's difficult to set a goal weight now. As a 5'9" female, I had a goal weight of 160 (started at ~185) and I surpassed that goal. I'm 153 now. My bf% is 19% and I'm trying to lean out more and go down to 15-17% bodyfat.

If you have a whole foods close by, Engine 2 makes some Sweet Potato and Cinnamon Crisps that are delicious! 26 chips is 100 calories and I'm most definitely full. Just drink with plenty of water to your stomach is full!

I'm on day 4 of the strict paleo diet. I'm looking for tips to consume more carbs that aren't fruit or sweet potato! I'm using January as a Paleo challenge, to see what the diet can do to my body. Any advice would be great!
