So sorry you had to go through such an ordeal, Kim. I second the comments from previous posters. Cortisol (the stress hormone) can do a number on your body including your weight. If you started gaining weight after the attempted kidnapping then I'd suggest that you first deal with how it could have affected you mentally.…
