Not sure that I have any answers for ya! I'm always very sore after weight training if I haven't worked on those muscles in a while. It could be a combination of all three things. I would imagine that the protein does help considerably, that's why they recommend it so much?

I totally feel your pain! It's so frustrating that you can gain so much faster than you can lose!! ARghh!
-
I totally agree with what's already been said. I'm a 5'4'' female and you're eating less than I am! The hard part will be eating more calories but the right calories. You don't want to eat more sodium or processed foods cause that will get you nowhere. Are you able to add some weight training in about 2-3 times a week? I…

I think your body will actually resist the weight loss because you might be too thin at 5'6'' 110lbs.

AH- MAY- ZING... totally amazing feeling! :o) Congrats on all your hard work!

No, they told me the opposite. I have hypersomnia. I can fall in a deep sleep, in REM and everything within a few short minutes. They said it's not normal to go into that deep of a sleep during the day like that. I took 4 naps and in all four I was in REM within minutes.

Awesome! I know how hard that is because I'm still trying to make my first 10lbs LOL. Congrats!

Thanks for the inspiration! We have the same body type!!

I found Pure Protein brand Chewy Chocolate Chip protein bars this week. I think it tastes great and I always have one in my purse so that if I get hungry out and about, I can chow down on this. With 20g protein, it gets me through to the next meal!

Yup I can totally tell! You look good! Keep it up! I know how you feel. I get the same way just about every week and I have to try to kick myself back into gear...sigh..Thanks for sharing.

From my understanding, once your skin is stretched out beyond a certain point, there's no treatment in the world that will make it bounce back. It will either be hanging there or you can get it surgically removed. As for the latter, I would do your research on the best medical centers and plastic surgeons in your area for…

Congrats to you! All you need to do is focus on being healthy. As was already mentioned, dieting, in terms of cutting out calories etc is a definite no no.

Keep up the great work! I can definitely see the difference! Congrats!!! You look great!

I have a Polar F6 too and it does all you would probably need it to do. It's supposed to work without much interference from other heart rate monitors in the room too. I think that's a good feature. It comes in handy if you're in a gym setting where other people have on heart rate monitors. I got it for about $100.…

I agree. I wouldnt count it as exercise. But you can go into your settings and change your setting for how active your livelihood is. Mine for instance is sedentary because I have a desk job.

Yeah coming from a male who's your dad equals compliment

I can't go anywhere on the internet without seeing her darn face! It's over- saturation and it seems like she's behind every single gimmick now. I too was thinking the same thing- isn't she a personal trainer who's supposed to be focusing on the healthy way to lose weight? I really can't take her seriously now. I was never…

Oh, I meant to add that for about the last 3 weeks, I lost 3lbs. I lost 2lbs in 3 days doing something different. Before, I was eating 1200 calories and exercising about 3-5 days a week. In the last 3 days, I've lost 2lbs eating 1600-1800 calories a day and exercised 2 out of those 3 days. Big difference. My nutrition…

There are many factors and the least likely being that you gained a 1lb of muscle. You might weigh tomorrow and see that the scale tells you something totally different. You really can't go from just one reading. Your diet will answer a lot also. If you're not eating enough, or eating a lot of sodium, your body could be…

I totally get it. I say set a new fitness goal for yourself and reward yourself with something new! For instance, instead of just losing weight maybe you can set a goal to tone up a lot, or something like that!

I totally agree. You have a lot of time. Ideally, you should be at your ideal weight. At your ideal weight, they may not even be a problem at all. Some people need knee surgeries just because of the weight they are carrying around. If they lost all the weight, they wouldn't have the same problems. Pain is no joke though.…

Unless they are causing you a lot of pain, I would recommend against it until you've reached your goal weight. Also, you are young. What is the rush? At my lowest weight, on a petite skinny frame, mine were DDs. They didn't bother me. I just knew I couldn't wear certain things....Now they're like JJ or bigger. I stopped…

Is this realistic? http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/05/26/50-cent-loses-a-lot-of-we_n_591102.html Yes, if you work out all day long, do nothing else, and don't eat, this is what will happen. It's just a fact. It's science. If you burn way more than you take in, you will see dramatic results. It's not unrealistic, it's…

I don't really follow the shows, but how is it an "unrealistic" goal? I don't even think that should be a goal- working out 8 hours a day and eating virtually nothing. If you think about it, it is realistic to lose that kind of weight if you were in the exact same situation. But almost all of us are not. We are not…

OK ladies, so I found out that the P90x nutrition guidelines are not really geared toward women's bodies. You should try to maintain a 40/40/20 ratio of carbs, protein, fat in the first part of the program. Their calorie guidelines may be more than you need. Here's the article I found:…

I don't think anything's wrong with it as long as the shows are responsible in highlighting the amount of work they are putting into it. Most of us don't have 5-8 hours a day to exercise! Once the viewers are cognizant of that, they can do the math.
-
That's impressive. You're right, the diet part is so important. Well I'm going to start today on the lean program. Wish me luck. I best read up on the nutrition part!! How did you figure out your nutrition goals?

Way to go!!! Cute bikini girl... work it!

Great story! I really like the body building part and you finding a way (like finding the exercise stuff used/on sale). As I was watching your photos in order, I was thinking oh god, he got too skinny looking..LOL. Then the next picture-- Wowsa! LOL...I love how body building and focused training can produce such results.…
