sounds like you need to do better at meal planning. i'm also primarily vegetarian (i eat seafood too) and trust me even on days that i don't have seafood i'm never at a loss for food to eat or calories to fill up my daily needs. quinoa, lentils and beans are good things to add in. as is healthy fats like olive oil,…

if you want to stick with fitbit or need gto take advantage of that discount they will give you to replace the broken fitbit (i know because i got a 45% off discount on my alta after my surge band broke), i'd suggest the alta since the band can be replaced i'm also looking at a Moov Now which is much cheaper
-
i don't quite understand the question. it's no different than anything else i do while living my life and having a period.

i had the surge and definitely do NOT recommend that one. I liked that fact that it counted floors, heart rate as well as the other usual fitbit stuff like sleep, activity, steps etc. What i didnt like was the band. It cracks along a non seam (no idea how) and since the band isn't replaceable you're SOL if that happens.…

maybe, maybe not. if anything i'd say be safe and assume 25% of calories were from the sauce. i guess it all depends on how much of cushion you have with your calories and how close you are to your goal. miscounting 600s in a day could be a lot if you're close to you're goal and needing to count for every single grain or…

I'm looking in to buying a Moov Now. I have a fitbit but Moov Now looks cool because you can wear it on your ankle and it's water proof so i can use in the pool
-
you're so screwed. just get through this one and use the time as your baseline for the next one lol

I'm currently on the edge of morbidly obese for my frame and i definitely understand that things i used to be able to do a few years ago when i was just regular obese are so much harder now. Anything you can do will help. Just for now work on doing something consistently for 15-30 minutes a day. If you have access to a…

I'd be OK with this, then again I am a massive flirt lol

I think in general you should speak up for yourself and check people who have hurtful comments. If people truly love you then they won't do or say things that you've told them are unhelpful hurtful. And if they do continue, then you go ahead and unleash that krakken of a verbal *kitten* whooping they have coming :-)
-
I'd err on the side of caution and just add in the full amount unless you know for sure what the individual counts are for all of the ingredients

What are your fitness goals?

heavy deadlifts works better for me than warm milk and a boring tv show. it's pretty much sleepy time for me right after lol

i agree with the others that you are probably eating enough. As for exercising, i know working out with so much extra weight can be really tough. if possible try to find things that will be low/no impact on your joints. working out in the pool is great if you access to one

don't use a smith machine or a mirror. looking at yourself from the side - which is the only way to check on the angles - puts you in an incorrect position. either set up your camera to record you squatting naturally or ask a friend to do it .

i think like some of the others have pointed out, you should look at this as more of a lifestyle change. For instance changing your eating habits for good can be something that will take longer than 30 days. i'd suggest forget about the 30 day goal for weight loss and think about 30 goals for lifestyle changes. Like maybe…

i thought that calorie counts are usually taken from when food is in it's uncooked state. this means that 90g of your cooked pizza will have more calories than 90g of what's reported. i also think in general the numbers of most prepared foods are just guestimates. i usually just expect there to be a 10-15% difference in…

I was doing something like this naturally for awhile and I had great success with it (I had lost 30 pounds and was ON IT in terms of exercise and diet). I'd have days where I'd be really hungry (depending on what my workout was) and then days when I'd be far less hungry. It made more sense for me to have those 2500+…

i think for kids you should focus more on getting him active as opposed to automatically getting him on a diet. Play pokemon go with him or something

yes. extremely. it doesn't help that because I'm single and have my food provided for me at work Mon-Friday I don't grocery shop. I can get away with this during the week because I can just take an extra lunch home or have a yogurt for dinner. Saturdays and Sundays I'm at a loss and either end up ordering in food (never a…

hunger is controlled by the hormones ghrelin and leptin. these hormones are also easily impacted by stress and sleep so maybe that's an issue for you? for me personally i get hungrier the next day probably because my body is repairing what happened the day before. i also notice that when i do HIIT i completely lose my…

you actually don't lose a lot of blood during your period, most of the liquid is the water you had been retaining from the days previous. so it's not like donating a pint of blood a day lol. i've never had issues with exercising during my period so i cant speak to any specific issues, but i think in general if you are…

if someone is doing that much HIIT...real HIIT. i doubt they would even be hungry since that type of exercise greatly effects leptin and ghrelin, the 2 hormones that are control hunger.

this. you should be engaging your upper back and shoulder muscles when holding the bar and pulling your elbows back (sort of like the down part of a lat pulldown). that helps creste a kind of shelf with your lats gor the bar to rest on

could be a mix of a few things 1) you have to be sure you are picking the correct entry from the database. i've seen things be listed as as much as half the calories add what's listed on the package 2) are you weighing/measuring your food or just eyeballing portion 3) you could be retaining water 4) i know for me it takes…

when i have a choice and i dont have a barcode, i go with the highest. better safe than sorry

the panache underwire is really good for high intensity and it's pretty comfortable. the sizing is forgiving as there is extra fabric above the cup. being able to turn it into a racer back really helps the support. they only go up to h cup, but with the additional material and racer back configuration, i can make it work…

thongs are just overall bad for your vaginal health so i skip them always. i either go commando or wear bikins in a moisture wicking (ie not cotton) fabric

shin splints can come from picking up mileage too soon. since in starting run again i'm getting them but it's getting better. i find it better to use the compression sock after the run to help work recovery. for me the issue is tight calves (thank you sedentary lifestyle). stretching during the day works well too
