  • Gorcha...it seemed at first that you would not add fats into your reset. Um I think some grains would help then...quinoa etc
  • this phenomenon annoys me too. Some people are genuinely jealous and snarky due to it but I venture a guess that if people are being resistant to your changes they are being resistant to how you are behaving. No one wants to be preached too. People will resist when their friends change their interests and hobbies.
  • Our bodies need fats. I understand not looking to eat unhealthy fats but nuts and avocados are good fats..your body needs these fats for so many things. research vegan diets with real fats that are good and healthy. You might be surprised how much the additional fat might help you.
  • ^^^^ this the only time I make an effort to not eat after a certain time of time is because when I eat after 9pm (We stay up late in my house) it is usually boredom snacky food and not food to feed real hunger. If I made rules like this though I would have to go to bed with low calories often as our lifestyle is such that…
  • in a completely smartass way I must suggest koolaid what about powdered gatorade? coffee added to water is always good too
  • Damn you and your super big brain are doing great!!! This is a great story thank you for sharing.
  • if calories are the same look at fiber and taste.
  • My mom bought me witch hazel as a face cleanser when I was a kid. If I cannot shower right away I put some of the cotton pads soaked with witch hazel in a zip top bag and wipes off my face, neck, and as much of my back as I can reach...I will use three pads..start with face etc...then I use one for upper body...you know…
  • You do not need to avoid carbs..carbs are not evil ....just make sure you are eating quality carbs...
  • I work out barefoot at home....no reason not to
  • Use your a day or two of your week off to prep food. I have seen recipes on Pinterest for crock pot meals that you freeze ahead...then take out the night before...stick in the crock pot in the morning...and bam....my kids don't love crock pot food and then i still have to make myself a veggie dinner so i don't really do…
  • I have replaced a good deal of my Diet Coke with LaCroix Lime sparkling water..so much better and I still feel like I am getting a drink that is more fun than plain water
  • I think you would be better with 4-10 min segments or even 3 12 min segments..just to insure the heart rate gets up to an adequate level...BUT with that said...any extra moving you do on any given day is better than not moving at all..you might also be surprised that the permission to break the workout into segments and…
  • during this initial phase of adjusting to the meds keep working out....there will be a serotonin boost which will help with the mood, even if it is 10-20 minutes of silly stuff you make up yourself from bits and pieces of other workouts...entertain yourself . Also, while you are adjusting pick1-2 manageable things to focus…
  • ^^^^ this. I have 3 different DVD that have 10 minute segments. You can program the DVD to play 1,2 or all of them, in what ever order you want etc. Somedays if I am not feeling it I will promise myself 10 minutes. I figure even if I only do 10 mins it is 10 mins towards health etc...9/10 I end up doing at least 3 segments…
  • If I actively choose to have a "free day" then I log breakfast and lunch but do not log anything else...well I usually log the next day because I am disordered and can't help myself...It is not always healthy to be so accountable all the time...trust me..soemtimes just enjoying life would be so much better
  • I always chop up carrots really really little and add them to any ground beef when I am browning it...kids don't even notice...I don't hide it but it is so small they don't notice
  • DO NOT drop calories another time. Do the best you can each day and keep reminding yourself that you need the fuel for health...it is imperative to fuel the machine
  • I am proud that I try every day to find something to be joyous about even when the day sucks rocks. Today I am proud that I am making conscious efforts to drink more water and make 2 fruits or veggies a part of every meal.
  • assuming the kids handle their request for something different this is what we do. As long as they don't throw a "ewww this is so gross" fit they can get themselves something different. I contend that as long as they are respectful "Thank you for making dinner mom, I have had my "fair shake bite" but I am really not…
  • My husband takes a serving of vegetables about the same size as the kids' servings....one scoop. He and I agreed that he can eat one bite of veggies or more if he likes it to help the kids see that even if it is not our favorite we "give it a fair shake" That is the rule in my house, the kids have known the rule since they…
  • This works too as each day becomes part of your weekly average anyway. Using the weekly average is helpful if you have a varied workout schedule...for instance someone who walks three days a week but then does intense CrossFit 3 days. That would be a huge variation in calories burn and calorie needs for the day. People…
  • on the apps in the iPhone and the android app you can see that but not on the website. If you are on the app homepage there is a tab that says summary, daily, weekly...if you hit weekly it will show you a bar graph of each day and at then a bar with the average on it. I use this to keep me on track
  • My overall goal is the weekly average. When I am marathon training I tend to have some big under days that I try to balance out with other days of quality food days that are higher in cals. I do still look at the days themselves though as it is not good practice to binge one day and fast another but the weekly average…

  • Orlando Bloom as Legolas...but not as any other character..
  • um yes
  • really? wow..interesting
  • why would you be any more prone to getting hurt than you are walking etc? go skate. go be active. Motivate yourself to be more active every day then this question won't be a question any more.
