It's "I can't believe you kiss your CAR at night". LOL, but I like carpet knife

I was fairly pleased. Strong defense and the offense has pulled it together more so than they have in several seasons. Finally a little intensity!! We will see how it goes Saturday - but I'm keeping my fingers crossed. GO BIG ORANGE!

My husband has a work wife. I have never met her and in general, I don't have a problem with him being friends with women. The problems I have with his relationship with the "work wife" is that he first told me she was old enough to be his mother.....later I discover she is just 4 years older than him. Second, on his days…

I am 5' 3" and at my starting weight, 261 lbs, I was a size 22. I am now 191 lbs. and in a comfortable 14. I am like the OP though, always heavier than my friends even when I was smaller. When I was 145 lbs., I was wearing a size 6. My goal is a size 8.

Not one pound of my loss was shed in the gym. Not saying gyms are bad, they just aren't required weight loss. The area where I live doesn't have a gym. 90% of my workouts have been Zumba from either the Wii or DVDs. The rest have been other various cardio DVDs, bike riding, running/walking.

Would horse racing be considered a sport? If so, then Secreteriat. Love, love, love that movie. Blind Side was a great movie too.

Almost 5' 3" - my SW was 261, GW 145. Feel free to add me

I would personally like to see him come back to Tennessee! We do  Peyton here in TN. However, I don't think Bud will get the checkbook out any time soon. :grumble:

From that movie, for me...it has to be: "If you're a bird, I'm a bird." Oh, I do love me some Ryan Gossling

I got this one last August - it is a reminder to myself. "Semper Persevera" which is Latin for always persevere...never give up.

My ultimate goal for this entire process is to be in the best shape of my life by the time I am 40. I will be 38 this year. I want to be fit, active, and be able to tackle anything the next 40 years has in store for me. I spent my first 37 years just sitting on the sidelines watching life go by....no more!

My favorite is the Zumba Live (from the older DVDs - I don't have the new ones), but live classes are fun too, I rarely get to go to one because of scheduling conflicts. Recently, I purchased the Zumba Fitness 2 for the Wii and really like it. I find it more challenging than my DVDs - maybe because the steps are new and I…

I began my journey April 2011. My GW is 150-145. The first pic is from 5/2009. I am not sure how much I weighed, but it was at least 260 lbs. This is from 6/2010 and I weighed about 260 lbs, give or take 5 lbs. This one was taken 11/2011 and I think I was around 200 lbs. This was taken 2-3 weeks ago at 195 lbs.

I am freezing cold all day, every day! :grumble: I have always been very hot natured, so it is wierd to be on the opposite end of the spectrum now.
-
I have lost a little of mine, but there is still a lot left. I would just be happy with making them perkier....but I don't think that is possible.

I'm having turkey vegetable soup for dinner tonight. 1 lb of ground turkey (seasoned, browned and drained) Canned or fresh veggies of your choice ( I use corn, green beans, carrots, onions, peas, and potatoes) 1 small can of tomato paste (I don't like tomatoes so I don't use them in the soup, but typically it is tomato…

Femme: 1. Playing with make up and hair is fun and a mani/pedi always makes me happy. 2. I swoon over babies. 3. I cry at movies frequently (I can't bring myself to watch the last Harry Potter movie because of that). 4. I have a severe addiction to purses. 5. I enjoy hand-written notes. Butch: 1. I know my way around a…

This is the latest one that I got August 2011. I want at least 3 more. I have 2 others (well, I did have one removed, so now just one other). It says, "Semper Persevera" which is Latin for "Always Persevere." It is very personal to me....never give up...that is my mantra!

^^^ this - is absolutely a factor. And, as others have said, it depends on each other's habits, kids, stress, schedules. I don't think you can strictly pin it to just marriage in general.

5' 3" and my goal is about 145, but I would be happy at 150. I carry my weight proportionately and I am stocky with a medium to large frame, and top heavy. The last time I was 145 I was in a size 6. I would be tickled in a 6, but perfectly happy as a healthy size 8. I suppose I am not hung up on a specific number.
-
Oh absolutely! I was never cold before I lost weight. Now, I am never warm....ever!!
-
Thanks! bump for later

bump - for later...great job though!

^^^ same for me, except I am "almost" 5' 3" and I'm 37  I used to be 145 and I was a size 6 at that time. I am thick and stocky....my body was not designed to be 115lbs. I may be short, but I have never been "petite" so to speak. I am not hung up on the numbers, so when I feel healthy and comfortable, that is the…
