I am also breastfeeding a 6 month old, plan to go to a year (like with my last one). I thought that dieting would cut my supply as well, but nope, same supply. Do you have a freezer stash? You may just have to experiment with what kind of calories you can get away with but you'll need some back up milk just in case the…

Big juicy cheeseburger with bacon and a gigantic heap of fries!
-
You look amazing! Congrats!

Nuts, condiments (not light kind), desserts of pretty much any kind. Why does a piece of cake have like 600 calories?

Depends how long you have been at this. If you are a pro at mentally calculating calories, then go for it. If you have done it a month, then no. I used MFP over a year and even now I can calculate calories pretty well for most foods. However, I do like using it as a meal planning guide so I can stay within my calories for…

You don't have to start the inactive ones right away, plenty of people continue on to the next pack without having a period. I would warn you though that it can mess with your hormones and then you can be really screwed up. If you start the next set of actives, when you start having breakthrough bleeding then stop the…

lemon pepper!

yuck movie theater popcorn (the real stuff)

It will make a huge difference on the scale. Think of all the food you have eaten just sitting in your guts...that's several pounds worth! I take Metamucil every day and am very regular, you should consider a fiber supplement or upping the fiber in your diet!
-
Good luck! You can do it!!

My LO's big smile and that she laughs at the strangest things. When my last patient of the day shows up early so I get to leave early :D

Always do raw or uncooked. That is how the labels on foods are done as well as raw foods like meat and veg. Sometimes a label will include "dry" and "prepared" (like my rice-a-roni has this) but I always use the dry and add my own ingredients such as 1% milk, half the recommended oil so the calories are correct for the way…

You probably have GERD. Pick up some Prilosec at the store or see your PCP and get it started. Those meds are super effective. If you're having it after every single meal, that means a med would probably be more suitable for you as well as some lifestyle changes (decrease spicy fatty food, don't eat at night, etc).

If I get hungry at night, I just go up to bed. There is no food that would make me get out of my comfy bed, walk downstairs, then eat it. If it's late enough, I actually go to sleep. You have to ask yourself, are you actually hungry as in your stomach is really growling, or do you just want to eat? It's all mind games.…

You are amazing! Keep up the good work! And don't be hesitant to get involved on the message boards, there is so much support to be had from everyone :)

I have to go on an empty stomach or all the movement during cardio makes me nauseous and burp like crazy!
-
No way I would die :D Just on Ash Wed and Good Fri. Definitely the no meat on Friday though!
-
Me too. Has worked for me for months.
-
I would bump up my protein with actual food. Meat, cooked eggs, yogurt. Drinking my cals away makes for one sad Courtney :p
-
Love it! Not the cookies, though.
-
yuck don't like lox crab cakes
-
Great job!! You look awesome.
-
I weigh daily and I don't log it as a "loss" unless I see the same weight two days in a row, that way I know it's probably correct.
-
Congrats you look awesome!!
-
Sounds good! Jelly-filled donut (a yuck for me ha)
-
Every morning. I don't record it as a loss unless I see the same lower number 2 days in a row to account for water, etc. This has worked for me for both of my weight loss stints, but it's not for everyone. It doesn't stress me out as it does others.
-
Sounds yum Coconut strips disguised as "bacon"
-
What about mixing those things you don't like into things you do? Like finely chopping veggies and putting it in pasta sauce. Then you can slowly increase the size of the chop to your comfort level.
-
Yum. I want some of that right now. I am so cold! Snow cream

Of course do all the things they mention above (strict calorie counting, weigh foods) but also it might be worth it to see your MD. Are you on metformin for your PCOS? It, along with MFP, could help get your started with weight loss.
