I LOVE YOUR ATTITUDE, I haven't been here long, but i'm finding out real quick, if someone doesn't like your approach to your own diet habits/needs/management, they are very quick to crucify you. Thankfully, I have really thick skin! haha

I recently purchased the 2012 GL class Mercedes SUV....ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT! I traded in my Lexus SUV, which was also a really great vehicle.

you like cats? lol

guava, lobster, calamari, crab, prickly pears, anchovies, lamb, olives...hmmm...this is really hard.

It simply does not slow down your metabolism, you are wrong.A one day fast once in a blue moon, will not hurt your body, your mind..you will not lose progress, become stupid, lose muscle mass, you will not become grumpy from the seven dwarfs. good grief people, I wouldn't suggest it if it was going to kill the girl.

I wouldn't just call it a whoops day. You're trying to hold yourself accountable, nothing wrong with that. I'll be the first to say, I have the odd binge days, kids birthdays, what not, life gets inthe way sometimes, even for a die hard gym freak like me. I tend to do a 24hr fast. It's easier for me to do..I'll stop eating…

I do workout on an empty stomach, that in itself is a huge debate topic..lol It works for me, I log 45 mins of cardio, I have half a protein shake, then I hit my weight segment with my coach, usually 75 minutes then finish off with 30 minutes of swimming laps or rowing.

If you're talking about burning abdominal fat, you need cardio, cardio , cardio and a clean diet. You're working your abdominal muscles walking, weight training, doing yoga, playing tennis, they are constantly being engaged. There's a reason why most programs focus on the abdominals at the end of the program and not the…

That's it exactly..it's like saying your working both biceps (..The Biceps Brachii has two muscles. Hence the word BI meaning two.) in fact you're not, you're hitting the bicep from different angles. I don't know why when it comes to the abdominal muscles they are broken into parts, they're not, they work as one unit. No…

High intensity interval training.....speed intervals, can be done on treadmill, walking, biking......

I didn't see anyone post any special tricks.....or claim to have spot reduced, I actually saw quite a few posts on what has worked to reduce overall fat...did I miss something? I've always had a low body fat percentage, I noticed my abs pop when I cut the carbs, yes I was in a calorie deficit and I believe the carb…

I had the biggest succes with my getting my 6 pack abs by eliminating all pasta, rice and bread from my diet, then I slowly added back in. the result, I still don't eat pasta or bread, but rice in very small doses. Have to find what works for your body. I drastically limit my fruit intake as well, my body prefers dark…

try to break the recipe down the best you can...and then overestimate. If it's a chicken dish, enter the chicken, the sauce, the pasta, the veg all separately, don't be afraid to ask the cook to make things baked/no butter no cream sauces...order veg steamed/salt and butter on the side.

I don't think you should do both. If you do just HIIT training in itself, it should tax you so that you have no energy for anything else.

I have a cheat meal once a month not an entire day. The last cheat meal I had was a filet mignon with a side of sweet potatoe fries.

I completely disagree with #3

I think they have there place, provided you have some control over it. I see patients eating 5-6 thousand calories on a cheat day, then wonder why they aren't losing weight, you still need to achieve your deficit by the end of the week to lose weight, just because you eat 1200 calories a day 6 days, you can blow the entire…

I'm old school I guess. I'm sure the recommended books are great, but it's quite simple. Work on proper form with no weight first, then begin to challenge yourself, lifting 1-2 warm up sets and 3-5 working sets for 8-12 rep will get that muscle on you. Lifting 4-5 sets for 5 rep of really heavy a** weight will build…

In complete honesty. I work out only in the afternoon/p.m if I absolutely have to. I can't sleep at night if I workout too closely to my bed time. I find the only time I can stay focused and commited and work out giving 100% is first thing in the morning. It also helps that there's only a very small handful of people in…

Thanks, and i'm in bed by 9pm..i'm an old chick, need my beauty sleep! lol

That was awesome!!!! LOVE IT!

Couldn't agree with you more! :drinker:

I'm very small around the ribcage that is the only part that sucks :grumble: ....cannot buy bras at local lingerie stores, they start at 32DD...a little frustrating but I found a great seamstress, so I have them tailored down or custom made.
-
I love my 30DD's!! they rock! :)
-
Can you fill me in on how this is managed? I would love to start something like this here in Toronto.
-
Eat the white potato, they're good for you. I actually enjoy combining the sweet potato and white together, delicious mashed.

I haven't read the entire thread, so I may be duplicating. It drives me nuts when I hear people tell me that they're doing their cardio in order to eat a treat....that mentality will keep most people from ever losing weight.

No it's not. Have you even bothered to see what your body is burning as energy to simply survive, without the add on of exercise or actually moving your body from point A to point B.....once you see that number you'll see why 800 calories is not sustainable.
