  • If I'm out of calories and I am still hungry, I may log some activities. LOL Usually I am more critical of logging my calorie intake then my calorie expenditure. I figure a few extra calories burnt that are unaccounted for are better otherwise I tend to consume all my calories.

  • You know...I live in Western Canada and it was -35 here last week..so I am not really feeling your pain. I like the cold more than the heat though. You couldn't make me move south. Hope you find something that makes you happy.
  • I am with you. I believe the calories are overstated for some of the activities. I golf quite a bit and the calories burned for walking 4 hours pulling my clubs is about 1700 calories but are 1600 calories if I rode the course on a powercart.   • Lose weight and exercise, get your body to a healthy BMI and the diabetic diagnosis may even go way. My Fitness Pal is a great tool. If you honestly use it, the pounds will come off and you will start feeling great.

  • Perhaps you didn't enter your weight right and the machine just used the default settings for calorie burn. Most machines use a default of 150 lbs and will calculate calorie burn based on this setting is you did not enter a weight. The option would be that you miskeyed when you entered your weight and had yourself too…
