  • I’m starting Game Changer on Sunday Feb 13th if you’re interested! I’ll be finishing Fast Blast the week before that.
  • Good for you! Getting started is always the hardest part. I work out at home in a pretty small apartment as well. I mostly use Les Mills On Demand, which has a great variety of classes. They also have 6-week challenges with prebuilt schedules which I really like. I also use FitOn, which has a good variety too. I generally…
  • I’d love to have a group for support and encouragement as well! I have about 30 pounds to lose, and am great at starting workout plans but not so great at sticking with them. Today starts week 2 of my current plan (a mix of Les Mills and FitOn classes plus lots of walks with the dog).
  • I’m in the same boat! I’ll be 48 this year too. I’ve let my fitness slip these last few years, and need to lose about 30 pounds. I’d like to get back in to running. I was running half marathons a few years ago but rarely run anymore. I’ve gotten myself restarted with exercise and am currently doing Les Mills and FitOn…
  • I'm at that point too. 15 pounds to go to reach final goal weight of 128, but even 10 would be great! I'm currently nine pounds over my low of a couple years ago, which is annoying but I'm glad to be headed in the right direction again. I'd like to be at a better running weight than I am now.
  • Feel free to add me too- I'd like more running friends on MFP! I'm on Garmin Connect as well as Heidi4649. It would be nice to connect with more people who love running. I've been able to get a few friends to join me for a few races, but in general their eyes glaze over when I mention it. My training since I got back into…
  • I'm training for my first full marathon in August, something I never imagined a couple years ago. But after seven half marathons, I feel like I can take this challenge on now. I also have half marathons in May, June, July, and October, plus other shorter races. My training plan starts May 2. Is anyone else on a similar…
  • Definitely get it checked out! I had something similar and ended up having to stop running for two months last fall. The injury itself was painful, but so was not being able to run. I've been back running now for almost four months, and so far so good. I've been putting more time into injury prevention, which has helped.
  • Friend request sent! I'm training for some half marathons this summer too, and using them as part of my training for my first full marathon in August. Two years ago I thought my friends were crazy when they convinced me to sign up for a half marathon, but I loved the training and I'm still going! I never would have…
  • I'm in! Current weight is 158.2, goal weight is 132. I was just thinking this morning that I need to start doing sit-ups again, so I'll add the 25-a-day challenge as well.
