I have known people with the following names: Princess, Unique, Quandra, Turquoise, Twinkle, Sparkle. My friend's niece was Christina Amelia Indepenence Hall. My cousin is Crystal Starre...and at one point she was married to a guy with the last name of Bell. There was a guy in my junior high named Ricky Hickey. My aunt is…

I've been here only a few days. Motivation is hard for me. I've done this journey before, but getting started again has been hard. I logged for two days, but I haven't for the last 2 and Thanksgiving is tomorrow. Yikes. But if I completely give up again it will get me nowhere. Well, probably another 10 pounds heavier…

I'm in the same boat! Ilost 30 pounds the first time around ( halfway to my goal ) and 'took a break'. Major stress stepped in and I just quit and blew it. Congrats on catching yourself in time - I've waited about 2 1/2 years and now I'm starting over with about 70 pounds. Dieting has never worked for me, but when it…

A couple of years ago a lost 30 pounds- halfway to my goal weight at the time. Losing weight was the easiest it had ever been because I ate whatever I wanted,…

This is my second 'do it again' journey. Last time I used Sparkpeople and it worked wonderfully. I just fizzled out and over the last few years I've gained the weight back and then some. Now that I'm starting again, I remembered this site from my research before. I'm using the counter from Sparkpeople again but thought I'd…

I have to agree here. While I'm just starting to work on my weight loss (again!) I did lose 30 pounds once before and I remember being freezing cold at work. I wore long sleeves and a hoodie and still froze my butt off. Now that I've gained back the 30 and 20 more I find I'm a stinking oven. I'm wearing short sleeves at…

Ok, now I'm interested in knowing if the stuffing people are from the north, and the dressing people are from the south! I definitely have the southern influence in my family!

For me, stuffing is made from the big chunks of bread, like Stovetop stuffing. Doesn't seem homemade with the big bread chunks to me. You can have Stovetop during the year, but would feel totally cheated with anything similar on Thanksgiving! Dressing is what my family has always had, made from homemade cornbread and it's…
