  • My boyfriend and I love to add mashed cauliflower as a side dish. Tastes and looks similar to mashed potatoes but so much healthier! We buy frozen cauliflower, defrost it, and toss it in a blender with whatever you want. Milk, a little cheese, and salt and pepper give a ton of flavor by themselves!
  • I met my man on OkCupid.com. We just celebrated a year together and are now living together. :)
  • Agreed! I would never have thought of you as obese! You can definitely tell a difference! Great job :)
  • I've been on celexa for about 2 years now. I was gaining weight because of eating crap while I was depressed, so once my mood stabilized, I started to eat healthier and lost a good amount of the weight. The worse side effect I have is the drug makes me so tired and sleepy! My doctor suggested I take it before bed instead…
  • I'm similar. I'm doing 1,240 calories a day so it's really easy to go over. I'd say a few times a week. I'm still losing weight so I'm not too concerned.
  • Hair removal! I'm like you - ivory skin, black hair. I had my entire body done over 5 years ago. Best decision of my life. My underarms and brazilian did grow back because that's just really stubborn hair. Even so, it's finer and sparser. Totally worth it. It was painful for me, especially at the end since the laser gets…
  • I vote to get fitted at a lingerie store. It at least gives you a starting point to start trying on different bra sizes. I've also noticed that the brands seem to have different fits. I only wear 1 brand - Lily of France. The rest don't do my boobs justice. Then again, I have the opposite problem as you. I'm barely a B and…
  • I'm looking for the same! Feel free to friend me! :)

  • Thank you for sharing! You have a wonderful story and are definitely an inspiration to keep going!
  • I'm with you ladies! I need some motivation too. I have such a sugar addiction (today I went over by 93 grams!!!!) and I just can't motivate myself to work out. I got up early this morning but ended up taking care of little chores around the house instead of jogging as planned. Please friend me too! :)
  • Sounds amazing! I'm addicted to cookies and cookie dough so this sounds like an awesome alternative to curb my sweet tooth! Thanks!
  • I actually know a similar dish! It's called Salad Oliviea (sp?). It's a persian chicken salad dish but it also have potatoes, peas, carrots, pickles, and eggs!
  • I'm also a sugar addict! Cookies, brownies, chocolate candy, you name it. I love to try out new baking recipes and sadly, I've had to give up a lot of my faves that are just super unhealthy. I've been trying to bake more naturally-sweetened treats, like fruit-based baked goods. I was on South Beach about a year and a half…
  • My boyfriend and I decided to join together. I've also shared it with my mom who has now also gotten back on MFP (both my mom and I have tried MFP before and fallen off the wagon). I've also shared my weight loss plans with my co-workers so they can keep me accountable on my snacking at work. No more chips and candy to…

  • I've been out of school for a few years now but I always had the same problem! I especially wanted a sweet late night studying treat like soda and candy bars. I suggest fruit with some kind of nut butter. It tastes sweet and the pb makes me feel like it's a dessert-like treat. Hope that helps!
  • I use that one quite a bit! I've finally stopped buying chocolates and cookies (at least, for the most part). I'm buying healthy sweets now like fruit that I won't feel guilty for having more than 1.
  • Thanks for all the great suggestions everyone! Looks like I'll be hitting up the grocery store today. :)
  • I use lemon juice in my water. Most of the flavored packets I've seen are just sugar.
  • Just found your mini challenges yesterday and I love them! I'm in. :)
