On my weight training days: I run half mile on treadmill to warm up (on 6) . Stretch then Work my legs to exhaustion. Run another half mile on a fast speed (7). Work my arms to exhaustion. Run a half mile at a fast speed (7). Then if we have time I do ab work. All the above = Exhaustion. This is what my trainer has me…

Definitely Say something. We are all in the gym to get fit and if we are wasting our time (or going to injury ourselves) because we aren't doing the exercise correctly I would want to know. Maybe some people will be offended but I think most would appreciate that you care.

I rarely weigh myself; probably about once a month. They do say weigh yourself the same time of the day each time you weigh yourself but I don't worry about that. I don't want to be a slave to the scale.
-
this looks delicious. I can't wait to try it, thanks!!!

I'm in. I swim and bike every week so I'm only doing 40 miles running.
-
I stepped on a scale and realized I weighed as much as I did when I was 9 months pregnant, except I wasn't pregnant this time. Plus my blood pressure was elevated and I don't want to take medicine . So here I am and I am here to stay.

NO, you are starving yourself. I'm 5'4" and weight 132 trying to get to 120 and I eat 1200 calories a day. If I work out (which I do almost everyday) then I eat the calories I burned. I was 145 and it took me over 200 days to get down to that weight. Give it time if you eat the calories your body needs and work out you…

I'm on here everyday. 240+ days and consider this a daily requirement for me.

Having support on here is great. I didn't know anyone else that logged in everyday but now I have a lot of friends and it is great to encourage each other. Sent you a friend request. Don't give up! I have been logging in for 240+ days and I have lost 13 pounds and feel great. It is a commitment but well worth it.
-
If you log in everyday you will be accountable. You just can't go over your calorie allowance. So if you eat something bad for lunch then you will have to have a good dinner so you don't go over your calories. That is the only thing that keeps me from having a really bad day. Also it encourages you to work out so you can…

Way to go! Congrats

Sent you friend request. It is great having friends on here so you don't feel like you are the only person logging in your calories everyday.

I put spinach in just about everything I eat. I put it on my breakfast sandwich, and any lunch sandwich, add it to my smoothie, add it to almost any meal I am making. Love Spinach.

Exercise. As hard as it may sound since you are not in a good place, just do it and don't stop. You will feel so much better. Maybe not all day but at least while you are working out and after. Over time you will feel better more often than not. Plus, if you workout hard you won't have the energy to think about depressing…

Great transformation. It always amazes me how much younger and different people look when they lose weight. I love these success stories. Good work!!

Just taking a quick look at your diet, you may need more protein. I was eating oatmeal in the morning and it wasn't enough. My doctor told me I needed to eat more protein for breakfast. You could try that.

Sounds like you are on the right track. Running a 5k in April is great. Cutting out "pop", we call it soda on the east coast : ) is great. Drinking your calories isn't a good thing. As for desserts, I think cutting them out forever is probably impossible for most, so I limit my desserts to special occasions. Plus my…

I have a personal trainer that I go to once a week and the benefits have been worth the money. I personally think it is worth it; I think it is a personal choice. I would rather spend my money on my health than wasting on things I really don't need. It seems like you are happy so far so for the money I would certainly give…

Great job! You are an inspiration to many. I love reading the stories of lives that were changed due to MFP, it just encourages me to continue on.

It took about 6 weeks for me to start losing weight. Give it time. Once I got over the 6 week point I started losing weight and have no problem keeping it off. Also, you are building muscle when working out which weighs more than fat. Hang in there you will see results. Good luck!

I agree with a previous post, find new friends. If they are just joking around tell them to lay off with jokes at your expense. If they still continue then you don't need those type of people in your life. Surround yourself with nice, supportive people. Also, you may want to change your setting to 1 pound a week. Good luck.
