*GASP* Apple Chai? I just died...

I like to sprinkle mine with Cajun seasoning (which has a kick, but not too spicy). Then, top with sauteed onions, mushrooms and peppers, and melt a slice of smoked provolone or other mild cheese over top. The calorie count is usually around 240. Great with fresh corn on the side!

Bump! :)

When I read this thread, it occurred to me that there are people posting here that need to learn as much about kindness as the OP needs to learn about losing weight. When I was younger, the thought of a "troll" (or whatever you call them) may have set me off into a ridiculous internet rage, but since becoming an adult, I…

You know, I hate being wrong. And feeling like I've been lied to my whole entire life. And looking like a total idiot to the entire world. Guess it's impossible to have a calorie free, oil based spray, eh? I'm guessing a two second spray on each side, which is roughly an additional 30 calories for each chicken breast…

Yep...it's for real. :)

Sorry about that - I didn't mean to be inconsiderate. The sodium for one serving is 726 mg (again, per MFP's recipe builder). Thanks.

Thank you - becoming a chef is a dream of mine. I would love to attend culinary school and eventually open my own restaurant, but it's funny sometimes how God has other plans. He's blessed me with a supportive wife and three children, but life is just to busy to even think about it right now. But maybe one day!…

Thank you! I typically create/look for full-flavor recipes that are relatively easy to make. Glad you enjoy them! :)

Yummy...this just may be what I make with the thawed haddock that I have in the fridge! Thanks for sharing! :)

It's a spice blend usually consisting of salt, chili pepper, red pepper, paprika, onion and garlic. I know that McCormick makes some, and that brand is usually available at most stores. If you can't find it, there are several recipes online to help you make your own. :)

Oh my...this recipe looks fantastic! Can't wait to try! :)

Tangy Cucumber Salad (Light & Tasty) Ingredients: 1 cup (8 ounces) fat-free sour cream 2 tablespoons cider vinegar 2 tablespoons lemon juice 3/4 teaspoon salt 1/8 teaspoon white pepper 3 large cucumbers, peeled and thinly sliced 1/2 cup thinly sliced sweet onion Directions: In a large bowl, combine the sour cream, vinegar,…

This is my LAST comment on this thread. #1) I, personally, look for low calorie replacement recipes to help me meet my 500 calorie deficit as well. I don't starve myself, and I don't lose more than the recommended weight-loss each week. AND...I also happen to like tofu shirataki noodles. #2) I understand which forum she…

She said that she was loaded down with classes and hadn't been logging faithfully each day... It's really not anyone's place to assume that she's lying and hiding an eating disorder. If someone did that to you, would you feel uplifted and supported?
-
Did you read the entire thread? Someone commented on how low calorie the recipe was and posted a link to eating disorders (unless it was taken down after I flagged it). IMO, that is attacking someone...
-
Are you genuinely concerned? Or in attack mode? I couldn't tell...
-
I hope so. And if she does, maybe you should ignore her posts and make your negative comments on facebook or somewhere else.
-
Actually, I don't think that's the case. She only had 20 forum posts.
-
Actually - you're right - if negative comments/support is all she received here, it probably is good for her.
-
Exactly. :)
-
You know, I really am disturbed by this. I, personally, have found great victory and support on MFP. But, it's a shame to see how the OP was attacked over a recipe (which, IMO, didn't actually seem too bad). Everyone is different, and everyone is on a DIFFERENT weight loss journey. It's funny how some people are just so…

Bump! Thanks for sharing.

Very strange - I've never had that problem. I'm thinking that you should completely saute your onions and mushrooms, and toss in the thinly sliced deli roast beef right at the end - just enough to toss everything together (rather than the 5-10 minutes called for by the recipe). Then proceed to stuffing the peppers. Once…

You can certainly leave it chunky if that's your preference, which will look more like this:
-
Actually, using a small amount of real sugar does improve the taste. But you can certainly use sugar substitute entirely.

Go you! I'm thinking of trying it "pepperoni pizza" style, with pizza sauce, pepperoni, mozzarella and parmesan, and a dash of Italian seasoning! Basically the same as yours, but without the beef. I, myself, am not much on ground beef-stuffed peppers, mainly because my grandmother made them so often when I was a child, and…

Ohmigosh...YUM. Will definitely be adding the chopped pineapple too! :) Thanks for sharing.

Sounds awesome!
