You need to strengthen your pelvic muscles..I went to phis iCal therapy for this and that is what they had me do and it helps. I'm sure you can Google some exercises. Lots of core exercisestrength and kegels

Congratulations!! Your weight loss will probably slow down, but do not get discouraged. Sounds like you are definitely on the right track.

that's awesome!! seems like you found something that is working for you and you are enjoying it as well. I think you should definitely keep at it.

I struggle with this too. I do find if I can wait it out, the hunger will subside a little, but sometimes it is so tempting to just eat something, and then boom in 3 minutes I am over my calorie goal

@galehawkins: what is your macro pattern that has helped?...I struggle with cravings as well. On low carb I crave carbs..on lowfat I crave fat..just want to stay in caloric deficit without being miserable.

I read somewhere when you are in the process of losing weight and you are using stored body fat for energy, your triglycerides can be elevated. Your body mobilizes body fat in the form of free fatty acids which I think is a triglyceride, and they are circulating in your blood stream to supply your body with energy. I…

Your body can convert protein to glucose through gluconeogenesis, so maybe the protein is too high? Keto is supposed to be high fat, moderate protein, low carb. Good luck!

Not trying to hijack the thread, but can anyone tell me why I'm getting palpitations on low carb? I notice it more in the evening and if I give in and eat some carbs it goes away. I am having trouble getting through this, has lasted about 3 weeks or so. I want to stick to it but is this normal? Has anyone else experienced…

I think everyone has a different carbohydrate tolerance. We have all seen the skinny people that can eat a ton of carbs and stay nice and slim, I am still trying to figure out exactly what my tolerance is, if I eat too few I do feel bad, but definately feel better on a lower carb diet than higher carb, usually try to stay…

liquid stevia drops from GNC are pretty good and supposed to be "natural"

I'd cut it down to 2000 and see how you do with that. I am 5'4 female 130lbs and I eat 1500 and am hungry still sometimes. I doubt it would be enough for you.

Wondering the same thing, although I have seen most people on this board say a calorie is a calorie and it doesn't matter if it's "clean" food or junk food as long as you create a deficit.

I agree with increasing water intake, also you are supposed to increase fiber slowly so your body can adjust or you will be CONSTIPATED! Alot of protein powders and bars use soy protein which is very hard on my stomach. Also read the ingredient list, I bet there are a ton of chemicals you can hardly pronounce. I think you…
