Intermittent fasting: postponing the meal. Alot of people have success doing this to lose weight and help maintain calorie deficit. other option: pack a lunch

Great job! I bet the majority of your weight loss was fat not lean mass which is awesome! 30 pounds of fat is a lot of volume.

Same experience exactly!!

thank you for sharing and congrats on your accomplishment

High carb, low fat, plant based. Since it is mostly carbs, your glycogen levels will stay pretty full even when you are in a slight deficit. I love eating this way, and just like you, feel great with my glycogen levels full. Also, you will be getting a lot of nutrient dense foods filled with fiber and water if you are…

I ready somewhere emulsifiers are bad for your colon and your gut bacteria. Can't remember where I saw it though I do try to stay away from any emulsifiers

You should be proud!! Good job.

I am 5'4 and cannot lose any weight on 1300 calories, maybe I am not accurately logging (I know, I know), but just wondering what calorie goals the 5'4 ladies are using. BTW I am 40 years old, 133lbs, exercise cardio and weight training 4-6 days per week. I have a lower belly pouch and saddlebags I need to lose ( and yes I…

Transitioning to vegan HCLF diet right now. I was always trying to keep carbs low, I even tried a ketogenic diet one time and felt terrible the entire time. I can't believe how good I feel eating plants!! Definitely better than on low carb.

I find this is easiest to digest for me

what about eating low caloric, high volume food like fruits and veggies?

how do you not have any cellulite, even in the before shot!!! So not fair!! you look great.

Fruit helps me, sweet and at least there is some nutritional value. Also, probably is lower in calories than cookies or candy bars.

I have also read some people believe if your deficit is small and weight loss is slow, this affects leptin less than losing fast at a large deficit. You will just need to play around with it and see what works for you. For me, I do better on a small deficit because I have less hunger, more energy, and am able to stick with…

you could take a diet break and eat at maintenance for a week or 2 and see if that helps with the hunger
-
It is caused by a decrease in leptin I believe
-
burpees for sure

Awesome, congratulations on such a great success!

Good luck, I feel like crap without carbs especially when trying to exercise. I did keto for 2 months one time and the fatigue never did improve, but I would love the hear the results. Keep us posted.

The concern is can probiotics even survive in your colon with the conditions the round up causes? My guess is not. Our government needs to do a better job at protecting the citizens instead of getting their pockets lined to turn the other way.

absolutely agree, grain-free for me for life!! Also, read an interesting article blaming the use of glyphosate right before harvest of wheat for these symptoms. Apparently wheat fields are sprayed heavily with pesticide just prior to harvest to begin the drying process and supposedly it is easier for the farm equipment to…
