  • I'm just back today and am hoping to be super active (here and in real life!)
  • I'm a week late, but I happened to weigh in on the right days so I'm gonna start now, ok?? SW: 200 CW: 191 GW (May): 189 Weigh in days: (Fridays) 5/2: 194 5/9: 191 5/16: 5/23: 5/30: I paid to go to a trainer this week and that was definately motivation to get to the gym, hope it continues this week! @Clare keep it up, over…
  • Hey Angela! it's really hard but we can do it!!
  • Keep it up! I had a baby a year before you and I'm still screwing around w my pregnancy weight. Do it now!
  • Hey! I'm 30 (I swear I forget that sometimes, I still feel 22!) have 2 kids and work full time as an overnight nurse. Life's crazy and we gotta live it the best way we can! I'm super motivated right now but I gotta keep it going!
  • I LOVE the idea of having your meals labeled in times. That is such a great plan!
  • I work 7p-7a three days a week and they're random so its difficult. I didnt change anything with mfp, i just basically do it whatever my #1, 2, 3 meals are and snacks. So today was my first night on so I ate breakfast when I woke up around 830am. I slept 12-4 so then I ate my lunch (my family's dinner) at 530. I snacked a…
  • Hey! I'm Maureen, I'm a night nurse on an open heart step down unit. It's so hard to stay up all night without eating everything in sight! When I've been successful in the past I have brought an abundance of healthy options to work with me to avoid the cafeteria, cafes, and vending machines. I have also started to bring a…
  • It's always my plan to work out before I go to bed when I get home from work, but that almost never happens. I am so wiped from running all night I fall face first in to bed. But I'm caught because if I work back to back there's no way I can get myself out of bed any earlier than I do (I have to get up at 345 to pick up my…
  • Wow thats a really good idea. I normally just throw them in somewhere and figure it's all in a day, but I think I'm gonna start doing it this way! Thanks!
  • Hey there, I work 7p-7a also and I love everything about it except the food schedule! I never know when to eat or what day I'm counting against. My solution has been to really try and listen to my body, am I eating because it's "time" to eat or because I'm hungry? I end up some days eating constantly and some days sleeping…
  • I found this oatmeal/cereal Bob's Red Mill - Muesli, it has oats, nuts, raisins, etc in it and I add a lite yogurt to it. You have to let it sit for 5 minutes or so to soften the oats (or use hot water instead of yogurt if you want it to be a warm meal), and I add a banana to it. It's a lot of food for 210 calories…
  • I started nights as a way to get in the hospital, but I'm certain I could never work days. I had to do days for nursing school and I am just not a morning person! And you miss everything at home, I'd leave before my son got up and have maybe an hour with him when I got home.
  • Registered nurse on an open heart unit, I leave my house around 6pm and get home between 830-930a depending how crazy my night it. But I love it and I love nightshift!
