Wow, I'm so happy to see everyone getting out there and moving! Go team! :)

@Starshine15 I forgot to mention that my only gripe is that the scale only goes by 1/5 of lbs, .2, .4, .6 lbs etc. No tenths.
-
@Starshine15 I use an Etekcity digital scale, it's cheap $19.99 and I've had it for 2 years now with no trouble. It has a backlit display which is great in the morning when I don't turn the lights on before weighing in. I bought it on Amazon. Not sure if I'm allowed to post links, but here's the link to the scale I use:…

Hi everyone, I'm a newbie to the challenge and I'm looking forward to it! Every few years I drop 30-35 lbs and then regain quickly. I'm looking to stop that cycle and finally get into a healthy eating and fitness routine that will stick, so I'm trying to go gradual instead of my usual crash change-eveything-at-once diet.…

Great work on increasing your steps and losing 30 lbs! I'm back to MFP after a long break and ready to stop the weight loss yo-yo. Feel free to add me for support!

I'm 42, feel free to add me, 40s people - back to the new year and stepping away from the holiday overindulgences!

I know how you feel. I have lost 32 lbs and all I can think about is how much further I have to go. You have done AMAZING work so far! Be proud of that. You look so much better, you probably feel so much better, right? It's a pleasure to fit into those clothes, it's worth the work! Don't give up. It's going to take us all…

Welcome 1Jillybean1! I'm always looking to cheer people on and to get some support when I need it too. Ideal goal was to lose 63 but I'll be very happy with 53 lbs. 28 down, still a long way to go! If anyone needs some support or just a cheer feel free to add me.
-
Hi, I'm new to the group but not new to MFP (yo-yo emotional/binge-eating). I've been working on this again for the past few months and I am finally getting to work... if anyone wants support add me!

Need some motivation! I'm exercising daily but not getting enough steps! www.fitbit.com/user/2947H9

Thanks for your initial post Jessica and thanks to everyone for answering! I slipped up at after a party two days ago and have been struggling since. The vending machine calls to me every day and every time someone brings donuts in to work it starts me on a spiral. Like everyone said, it's true, we are all taking it one…

Yes, I think so too. Everyone that I talk with asks about why I won't eat certain foods and then say, well, you'll go back to it when you lose the weight, right? It's really hard to get people to understand that you just don't want to eat certain foods anymore. Now I understand what my sister went through as a vegetarian.…

You're right, those big goals that we force on ourselves don't always bring the happiness we want. You're amazing... 106 lbs! That's so incredible. The little things like being able to do stuff I couldn't before, or couldn't do without a struggle are the things that really make me happy. Enjoy every little achievement!
-
Anyone is welcome to add me too! I'm relatively new, 48 days, lost 23 but still have 25 lbs (just to get to the high end of "normal") to lose and have hit a wall. I'll cheer you on!
-
I'm 5'0" and my goal weight is 125 but I think it will prob be more like 135 since I haven't seen 120s since I was 16.
