The frog legs I had were giant and ooohh sooo tasty! BBQ'd. They are sold in the meat department at a few groceries stores around here in Utah. Alligator tail is amazing as well.

Most days I do 1/2-1 mile freestyle swims. 5-6 days a week. I've been adding in running into that mix. Yesterday afternoon I ran 1.5 miles on the track and then last night swam a mile. Occasionally I'll put the treadmill on max incline and then increase the speed till I hit 85% of my max HR and sustain for 30-45 minutes.

As mentioned above maintain your healthy eating habits. Don't create to much of a deficit from food though or you'll slow your metabolism. Are you in a cast or a boot that can be removed. If it's possible you can try water aerobics. Such low impact it shouldn't effect your healing injury but still give a decent cardio work…

For short runs <= 5k you can use band aids... Anything longer then that and Duct tape works well. :) A good tech shirt ie: Under Armour works pretty good as well for the shorter runs. I had blood nipples after my first 10k run... It sucked!

See if this works...

ROFL! That picture cracked me up. But seriously if somebody says they gained 3 pounds that's 10500 extra calories above their TEE... In a week. Makes me want to puke just thinking about eating that much food.

More then likely it is water. A pound of fat = ~3500 calories. I seriously doubt somebody has oven eaten that many calories in a week.

That's pretty ridiculous. I'm glad I've never had to deal with an idiot like that. I'd probably laugh at them, tell them they are pathetic and continue on my work out.

I used that calculator for swimming and it was within 100 of what MFP tells me. I don't eat back all my calories though so I'm not worried about the variance. Anybody have a good suggestion for a HRM for swimming? Message me details please.

Vodka and Limeade or Lemonade... Guinness in the can... But mostly just water. :)

I'm a huge fan of the female body and enjoy seeing attractive women... That being said. I absolutely hate it when Women wear super skimpy stuff at the gym. I feel like its a distraction and I'm not there to look or be distracted. I'm there to get healthy and strong. Maybe I just need to work on my concentration more.

My 12 year old daughter saved her money for a year and bought herself the Nook Tablet. For Christmas I bought her a 16gb microSD memory card and loaded it with eBooks for her. She absolutely loves it and has it constantly in hand. I can't wait to get one myself and we are both lovers of books.

You can try mixing in your favorite protein powder. You can mix it in with Salsa for a different taste and texture as well. Chips and Salsa/Cottage cheese are a really tasty treat. Another thing you can try is mix in your favorite low sugar Jelly. ie: Some strawberry or Grape etc...

Jennifer Garner especially the way she looked in Dare Devil and Elektra. She did major nutrition and fitness in prep for those movies. Now I am me and don't want to be anybody else but I would like to look more like Matthew McConaughey in Reign of Fire as my every day look.

I live in Utah, USA. It's currently 19 deg F. and foggy. We've had snow off and on for the last couple days but it doesn't seem to really be sticking.

As a former Marine I would say stay with whatever routine you have and don't add anything new. I would continue to work out till the day you leave. Rest is important and should already be a part of your routine. With the exception of rest for injury taking off more then 2-3 days will impact "the feel" of your fitness in a…
