I can't drink the green Monster drinks....way too much sugar and it puts me to sleep in about 2.5 hours. If you caffeinated drinks (to keep you awake because of lower carbs)...try BANG drinks. It has double the…
  • I need to contact in-home care giver agencies to find someone to care for my Mom when I can't (but I hate the thought of a stranger in the house).

Depending how active you are excluding working out, you might use another 750 calories throughout your day. Then let's say you were…
  • i asked a nutritionist friend of mine about this. I said that I sweat a lot that after about 1.5 hours on a treadmill or stationary bike, my cotton shirt is soaked. I also have puddles under me. She told me that fitter people sweat more (but that might be because fitter people push themselves harder/longer than newbies).…
  • I'll wear my HRM during strength days to get an idea what my calories burned might be. Thanks.

I get in for free with her. I work upper body on Mondays, lower body on Tuesdays, midsection on Wednesdays, run and shoulder work on…

  • Just for comparison... when I trained for my first marathon, I ran over 550 miles in a six month time. If you're walking 200 miles a month...Great job!
