Meat on a stick. You get some meat, put it on a stick, place over fire until done... When I was in the boy scouts, decades ago, we would make steak and potato sandwiches. Pretty simple fair. Also, take a cast iron pan, for the obligatory omelet that turns into scrambled eggs. Really, if you are camping and hiking enough…

Usually I talk to people. Bores the hell out of some of them. I talk to my coworkers, text my friends, and just generally do anything that keeps me away from the food. Snacking is bad, so I bug my friends, which may be bad, but no matter how mad they are they can't put weight back on me

Pretty hard to log your drinks when you're seeing double...

My 7 year old son makes me feel old. The fact that people look at me in awe when I tell them that I saw Star Wars in the theater during the first run of the movie doesn't help either.

Whiskey and coke. But I'll drink anything, really.

Gah!!!! Now I have Barney in my head. Creepy purple dinosaur thing.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/You_Are_What_You_Eat Much better program, probably on netflix, that actually looked at what people ate and modified their lifestyles instead of putting them on a scale in front of millions.

Breakfast to me is something to do while I'm checking my email and drinking my coffee. Beyond that, it's not really important at all.

It's a trap! Every man for himself. Remember, you don't have to be fast, just faster than the slowest person...

According to the cardio machine, I burn more calories than MFP says. Since I have those calories already figured in, I just log them anyway.

Sorry, but that is flawed logic. You don't set your BMR, for the most part, nature does. It's based on height, weight, and age, not on the amount you eat or the amount you should be eating. The only thing you control is your activity cycle.

On the other hand, I try my very best not to imagine myself naked...

You can add me as well. I'm trying to be more interactive on this thing. Gives me something to do while pedaling at the gym.

It's like playing "Guess the Dimensions". I used to do this a lot, but I have a very good memory, so I'd just glance and be done. I'm not much for gawking, which I think is way worse.

Pants: 36/36 Shirts: L Men's clothes are so much less confusing.

When I was a kid I memorized the answers to all the questions in Trivia Pursuit. Can't remember a lot of them.

Yep, and that's the important part of losing weight long term. It's to control the binges so you don't stand at the fridge wondering if you can eat carrots with BBQ sauce on them and call it healthy.

Sleepy, drunk, and stupid are less likely to shoot you down than awake, sober, and witty... So the reality is, for men anyway, we are looking for a woman who will say yes.

I usually eat about 200 for breakfast and lunch, 300 for snacks (total 700), 600 or so for dinner. I eat very light foods throughout the day. If I get hungry, I eat a snack. The secret is to eat all through the day and to avoid anything heavy. At 700 cal for breakfast, I'd say no creamer in your coffee, no dairy at all,…

1) Red meat 2) Anything that has "deep fried" or "country fried" in it 3) Full calorie sodas. You can probably add milk to that list, too.

My wife calls it "some". I call it "that thing that we do not nearly often enough". Which means that I will not be getting "some" if my wife is in earshot...

I'm thinking as long as you are getting invited in, complaining about the decor might be a quick invitation back out...

1-1.5 hours, depending on my schedule.

And yes, since Greedo died pretty much instantly, that sort of goes without saying. I saw the original Star Wars in the theater when I was 7, making it my second movie ever seen, right after Bambi (who was a boy, by the way...)

I was very popular right around "project time"...

Han Solo shot first...stupid remakes

According to most of the literature I've read, fat gets burned first because it has more calories and isn't being used (9 cal vs 4 cal). If you are in a coma, or otherwise sedentary, then yes, you are likely to lose muscle mass. But if you are active and work out more often than not, your body will remove calories from…
