You genuinely need to seek help. That is not a healthy outlook. No motivation is going to help you.

Are you eating enough during the day? Are you exercising and hitting your macros? Are you eating more when you exercise?

Drink some water, accept that you made a mistake and try not to let it happen again. Recognize the feeling that made you want to binge and learn from them. Weight loss isn't linear and try not to think that you've been set back. Just another turn on the journey. Now it's time to keep moving forward because you are worth it…

I did one really successfully and felt completely awesome. Then I attempted another after a vacation cause I thought I would push myself my first day back. Big mistake. I was completely drained after the HIIT which was like 45 mins into the workout anyway so I called it quits. They are completely killer.

I get what you're going for but using food as a reward is not good for your relationship with food. It's reinforcing that when you do something good you should eat a "cheat". Saying things like "I've earned it" or "I'll get back on tomorrow" is setting you up for failure once you stop logging. I'm all for a treat now and…

Weight lost is weight lost. If you're using the same scale and the number is going down, who cares what you weigh? Pick a scale for tracking progress and ignore the other numbers! Eventually your body will be bangin'. And again, if you look hot, who cares what you weigh?

I'm adding everyone in this beautiful thread

Twoville? Either way, good for you that's really great! :drinker:

I've still got a ways to go, anyone feel free to add me!

I already lost 20 pounds on keto, here's to the next 20! I log everyday too.

If you gravitate more towards fat and protein why not just keep you diet the way it is? Do what works for you. It sounds like you have naturally fallen into a ketogenic diet. As with any diet there are pros and cons. But if you've been eating 8% carbs already and haven't noticed a significant drop in energy levels then it…

Hi, glad you've decided to be healthier  Make sure you ease into things. I can't tell you how many times I've jumped into a strict diet and exercise only to give up miserable and in pain. Start finding little ways to move more and get your body out of couch mode. Over time you'll want to push further. Don't deprive…

Yes. I was netting anywhere from 1000-1200 calories a day and completely stalled. Decided I'd take the typical eat more MFP advice I'd been ignoring and "caught up" so to speak. I didn't work out for a day and ate around 1700 calories. Dropped 2 pounds overnight. Obviously that wasn't all fat but it broke my plateau and I…

I know this doesn't work for everyone but I have found something that works for me because I am the same way. No matter what, I always felt like I was starving at the end of the day even though I really wasn't. I have always been a night snacker. Recently I kinda fell into intermittent fasting. I kept pushing more and more…

Amazing post. This is how everyone should view long term diet/exercise goals. Unfortunately there are so many myths and crap "studies" that convince people otherwise. Do what works for you is simple and sustainable. Most people on this site just give advice based on what worked for them as if it will work for everyone.…

I was told there are geeks here? I would love more nerdy friends.

Whaaa? No avocado?! Blasphemy! And OP a lot of sushi places have rolls wrapped in cucumber that have little or no rice. They are still incredibly delicious!

Are you my soul mate? Those are 3 of my favorite shows.

I've found that weighing in every day has made me care less about the number. Like others have said when you put all of that weeks progress in one number, I feel it's easier to get discouraged. I weigh every morning but don't mind the number and have my "official" weigh in one day a week. That's the one I record on MFP.

ZWOW #45. It was short, but absolutely killer. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7BTxBF55Hjc

I eat a huge dinner around 8:30pm. That's my only meal besides a small pre or post workout snack. It works well for me otherwise it's too hard to stay under my calorie goal.

Well I'm a girl so I'm not sure if I'm invited but many of my friends have become inactive and I'd love some more.

I've cut it down to once a month because I was obsessing. It's changed my entire outlook and I'm much happier. I no longer beat myself up and I always get to see a loss :) But I understand not knowing would drive some people crazy.

I have both and would definitely say go with the HRM. As much as I love my fitbit it can be pretty inaccurate for a number of reasons. HRM all the way.

Hi I'm 21 and am active on the site every day. I'm about 40-50 lbs from my goal and always up for new friends!
